Whether he had a weak character or not is not the question. The fact that you'd use that as bait against someone in order to get a press boost for yourself, that says a lot about the integrity of a person. He has nothing else going on, so he prods someone for a sound bite. Lame.

Atlas cares about nobody but himself, and in the worst way.

Well if you had Tyson attempt to rape your 12 yr old female relative in the 1980s, I would feel some type of vitriol towards him. On top of adding insult to injury your boss (Cus D'amato) giving him a pass on what happened... Not sure how you would react to something like that but you can't fault him on how Teddy took that

And Tyson did have a weak character in the ring and did quit when he couldn't intimidate you. Did that comment have some extra hot sauce because of his relationship with Tyson? Maybe. But he's not wrong at all on that point

Prove that. This is white America..if you black..they think you already damaged and need to be confined. Weaklings. That's all a white woman had to do to have you killed..cry rape. Sam Cooke went down in a horrible way over nonsense like that

Tyson admitted that he did something wrong in that aspect and apologized to Teddy. So not sure where you are going with this

Yeah but that's the point. That's all that bozo has to hang onto, his shytty war stories from 1985-86 when he pulled a hammer on a 17 year old that got grabby on a 14 year old (that's the actual story.)

I guess anyone can say someones weak in the ring, Teddy included. Not sure how many lineal championships Teddy fought at heavyweight though, let alone defended.

All im saying is that everyone who has ever worked with Teddy Atlas as a boxer has fallen out with him. Make of that what you will.

I don't know how many interviews/podcast episodes you watched but he barely talks about Mike Tyson, especially in the last 15 years. He only mentions it when it's asked. If you watch his podcasts/ interviews he has so much other topics from current Boxers of today, strategies to win a fight, his time with Michael Moorer, Boxers in history, books he's written, etc etc

And again, you can't chose how someone will react to how someone physically assaulted and underage female relative. And I hope you are not minimizing that act by Mike by calling it "got grabby"

I've seen countless, but I'm not here to go back and forth about how many Atlas podcasts I've seen. :russ:

Cool, flip it however you want, the discussion was about Atlas baiting for clicks, if you want to suggest it's for some sort of retribution as to when they were younger and Teddy pulled a gun, cool, but it isn't. It's about Atlas scraping for attention any which way he can get. Hoe shyt.

I guess I'm the only one who loves Teddy Atlas :ehh: . He has a great podcast where he breaks down fights before and after and now does commentating on Pro Box TV as well
Problem with him is he’s sensationalist by nature. Idk if that’s the right word but what I mean is that the guy almost never articulates his opinion in a moderate manner to at least keep up the illusion of being unbiased.

More often than not this guy has to be either fully behind something/somebody like a core fan or be on the other side yelling and hating.

I get that he’s an old-timer and that his shtick is entertaining to many ppl but imo it’s still not good when an analyst is so shamelessly stanning/hating instead of trying to view the topic with stepping back and taking an outsider view.

Like after any decision he doesn’t like he drags the sport through the mud and spews BS about the sport’s desperate state, etc., simultaneously forgetting about the good things going on. As an analyst he shouldn’t react from emition first.

Arum will do anything to keep from real Black talent...lol.
Back”
If he wins, Lopez and Haney will be considered ‘number one and two’ in the division, so Arum was asked if that makes more sense than a Garcia bout.
“Being one and two means nothing, it’s how much revenue they can drive. Nobody has 9 million followers on social media the way Ryan Garcia does.”
