Seen this same comment a lot of times before he fought Gvozdyk who was just as a decorated boxer as Bivol is, see how that turned out.
I have little to no doubt that version of Beterbiev would piece Bivol up, if Bivol beats him that will be because they waited till Beterbiev is 40…

I’ve seen ppl disrespecting Beterbiev’s skills even leading up to the Browne fight, seems like this guy can’t catch a break
beterbiev is prolly the most dangerous fighter in boxing today...he is incredibly dangerous because his power is elite and so is his skillset...that dude can box and think..to say that is easy work for bivol in general doesn't make any sense because the guy has stopped everyone he has faced so far...pretty brutally

I don't disrespect Beterbiev's skill on my end. He's one of the best short range power punchers in this era, probably the best. Great inside fighter and underrated Boxer. I just feel too many people get too caught up in being in a firefight with him, and never try to exploit his lack of quickness

beterbiev isnt that slow...he has good footwork and can cut off the ring...you can nullify speed significantly..unless someone is fighting negative as hell and gets on their bike

Plenty of them tried to not engage with him and just box but couldn’t do it enough :yeshrug:

I get what you're saying. Dude always looks beatable and he can legit go stretches where he gets outboxed, plus he's been hurt and dropped before

But....

the level he compels you to fight at consistently is where nikkas lose. A lot of guys can't box assertive enough to really dominate and win rds, they somehow either throw too little while boxing or get spooked into throwing too much and turn into a dog fight that they lose.

I think the guy that beats Beterbiev will prolly have to do it in a FOTY. or some freak accident. I just don't see anybody being able to beat him on some 117-111 super decisive shyt. He's too balanced style wise and then his intangibles are crazy.

We'll see, you think Gvozdyk is a better boxer than Bivol :sas2:

This, cats underrating Bivol's own intelligence and confidence

Yeah I'm a fan of both. I fukks with Beterbiev, not many people can beat him. But I almost never go against an elite counterpuncher that also is a master at distance control. Bivol is just the type of fighter with that skillset
