You mean to tell me when promoters actually book a fight the people want to see, it does good numbers? Maybe they should try that more.

Nah fam.
Wait til these nikkas have unified 3 divisions and stayed top 5 on the p4p lists for 4 years.

Just imagine if they would have did all that first. :ohlawd:

“Oscar! Oscar! We got 1.2 million PPV buys “ - Hopkins

“Dammit Bernard! If we would have waited 2 more years, and let it marinate, we would have got 2 million buys!”- Oscar

“They starting to talk about us not being at the post fight conference “ - Hopkins

“I know I know let me do some bullshyt interview and clean it up. I don’t know how we’re going to rebuild that bum. I kept telling him Davis is not right for us. He just would not listen! - Oscar

from the home of coca-cola, i'm not referring to s
you see it :russ:
Spence got grace to waste 5 yrs on a side of the street cause he "had to collect the belts" on the PBC side so the Bud fight would be for unification......now belts don't matter :dead:
nikkas don't actually have any principled positions, it's all about whatever makes their fave look good
And now Tank will get that same grace to waste 5 years avoiding anyone with a belt cause belts dont matter... when we start getting fights like Fury vs Ngannou instead of Usyk it will be okay to these same individuals right??.. The sad part is it will all be to justify the PBC dropping the ball in making Spence vs Crawford.. they will accept anything that satisfies their bullshyt narritive of Haymon/PBC being blameless anytime a fight negotiation falls through or a fight taking way too long to get made

Robeisy Ramirez vs. Satoshi Shimizu Added To Fulton-Inoue Card

Robeisy "El Tren" Ramirez is ready to make the inaugural defense of his WBO featherweight world title against a fellow two-time Olympian.
Ramirez will take on Japanese contender Satoshi “Diamond Left” Shimizu Tuesday, July 25, at Ariake Arena in Tokyo. Ramirez-Shimizu will serve as the co-feature to the world title showdown between Philadelphia’s WBC/WBO junior featherweight champion Stephen Fulton and Japan’s pound-for-pound king Naoya “Monster” Inoue.
Fulton-Inoue, Ramirez-Shimizu and additional undercard bouts will stream live and exclusively in the U.S. on ESPN+.
Ramirez said, "Next stop, Japan! I am happy to announce my quick return to the ring in what will be the first defense of my WBO world championship. Fighting is what I do best, titles are meant to be defended, and there’s no stopping 'El Tren!'"
Ramirez (12-1, 7 KOs), a two-time Olympic gold medalist, experienced a rocky start to his pro career following a split decision loss to Adan Gonzales in August 2019. However, after joining forces with Cuban trainer Ismael Salas, the 29-year-old has developed a more pro-friendly stye. He has remained undefeated since and avenged his loss to Gonzales in a 2020 rematch inside the MGM Grand Las Vegas Bubble. In 2022, Ramirez stopped Irish veteran Eric Donovan in February, starched then-unbeaten contender Abraham Nova in June, and defeated Jose Matias Romero via ninth-round TKO in October. In his last fight, the fighting pride of Cienfuegos, Cuba, soundly defeated former junior featherweight world champion Isaac Dogboe by unanimous decision to capture the WBO featherweight crown.
Shimizu (11-1, 10 KOs) is a 37-year-old southpaw making his first attempt at a world title. Before turning pro, he represented Japan at the 2008 and 2012 Olympics. In his first Olympiad, Shizmu was eliminated in his opening bout. Four years later, he moved down to bantamweight and earned a bronze medal, defeating Dogboe but losing to eventual gold medalist Luke Campbell. Shimizu has only tasted defeat once as a pro, a sixth-round TKO loss to Joe Noynay in 2019. His pro career is otherwise unblemished, having knocked out 10 of 11 opponents across an almost seven-year span.

This is the point we have been trying to get across...

Fighters want big fights and to make more money, promoters need to start making fights fans want instead of who they think fans want. It isn't about belts or accomplishments, if it was just about that there would be plenty of big time money fighters in the sport right now. Fighters will have more incentive to risk their 0 and make good fights if the money is right, it's really that simple.

Cmon now, Do any of those guys fight for PBC? :mjlol:
Acknowledging what the nikkas in suits want is one thing, we been criticizing them for holding up fights and politics so we know what they on. But actually championing not getting the best fights consistently cause casuals is some other shyt.

The sad part is it will all be to justify the PBC dropping the ball in making Spence vs Crawford.. they will accept anything that satisfies their bullshyt narritive of Haymon/PBC being blameless anytime a fight negotiation falls through
Breh, the most hilarious shyt was people doubting the terms Crawford leaked cause they seemed so ridiculous it just had to be a lie then instantly flipping and supporting those very terms they questioned once Espinoza and Spence confirmed all that shyt was true. It's almost Maga like the way they pivot on a dime depending on what makes that side look good

Honestly trying to remember a time ppl held PBC accountable for anything, maybe them charging PPV for shyt fights like Ruiz vs Ortiz but that's about it. Even blatant ducking by dudes like Cruz and Tank and blatant in house politics got swept under the rug by the stans

It's vary MAGA like.. watching people continue to be corporate PBC slaves in 2023 disturbs me.. Like we didn't get enough of this bs after the Mayweather/Pac fiasco that lasted 6 years. I know I did....
But watching nikkas in here do a complete "about face" with their logic is sickening.. Same nikkas that was totally fine watching an undefeated 3 div champion get offered $0 guarantee with only 35% back end for undisputed now talking this belts don't matter anymore garbage and how fighters will have more incentives to risk their 0 and make good fights if the money right :dead:
