Okay I’ll give you that.youre talking to the wrong person..i dont care about spence vs crawford..ive washed my hands of that...they will fight when they want to...if ppl want to tell me that ryan vs tank is the catalyst for change in boxing then thats the stance im going to take ppl to task on...we will see what it looks like by the end of 2023
Ryan was the #4 ranked Ring magazine lightweight… remember when the ring rankings > all other rankings ??

Cocaine is a hell of a drug.That bottle be whupping Teo's ass.
its nice it sold the PPVs and generated the revenue..i just didn't think it was a good representation of boxing for it being marketed as a big fightOkay I’ll give you that.
I never said it will save boxing.
Another thing that boxing fans (I’m a hardcore casual and I’ve been following boxing much more since PBC came into existence sans Mayweather fights; circa 2015), don’t realize is there aren’t a lot of stars ️ in the sport.
Skills =/= stardom
The best example is Ryan Garcia. He was never nice to me but he has star power. Never won a world title but has endorsements.
Sadly, there’s no formula.
hilarious, but not surprising that there were coli dudes trying to downplay this fight
Prizefighting isn’t fair. It’s a business.its nice it sold the PPVs and generated the revenue..i just didn't think it was a good representation of boxing for it being marketed as a big fight
we arent that far removed from benavidez vs plant..that one hit on every level..i know it did because the arena was damn near full for the first PPV undercard fight..shyt was a great representation of what boxing was because all the fights made sense and were competitive..but we do not even know what the final numbers are for that PPV because showtime or espinoza or 3 twitter accounts i take serious for that havent said the number...but it doesnt take away from it being a great night of boxing
if a boxing event does well i want to be able to watch and think yes this deserved its accolades
You are aware these are people’s careers? Every fighter wants and desires a fight that appeals to the casuals. Call it what you want. Most of these people have been fighting since they were kids and don’t know anything else so they would tell you, “F**k you!”This was a big casual event….this was more a casual big even and social media big event…fight wise this wasn’t a big fight and didn’t shake up 135-140..these are the facts. It was a decent fight but the top of the division was unmoved. We literally talking about a non-title fight here.
go argue with someone who cares nikkaThis was a big casual event….this was more a casual big even and social media big event…fight wise this wasn’t a big fight and didn’t shake up 135-140..these are the facts. im sure it will hit different if teo decides to use the n word again if on camera lolTeofimo brought Bud light to Top Rank
Haney, Stevenson, Tank, Zepeda, Frank Martin, Kambosas…and possibly Jamaine Ortiz and Pitbull Cruz I would rank above Ryan as well. He was Tank easiest opponent in years.So 2 top 5 lightweights fought each other???

I agree, it was a good event and good for their careers. And it was better than they usually do, the event was good for boxing we all know that, I just dnt think it shake up any rankings or big picture P4P discussions. That’s my take.You are aware these are people’s careers? Every fighter wants and desires a fight that appeals to the casuals. Call it what you want.
