Now PBC trying to change the narrative when they were the ones stalling from the jump knowing bud been inactive over a year. Bud got em everything they wanted pertaining to his connections with kinahan, so they had to come up with something new. Which is to give him horrible deal they knew he wouldn't accept.

Bud letting em know he's not just gonna fall in line like the rest of them PBC dudes who take whatever they're offered. At the end of the day, bud gotta stay active. If PBC won't give him what he's worth he gotta move om. They want that February date cause by then bud will have been inactive for damn near 16 months. We know Bud already accepted the smaller purse with ZERO guarantees which in itself is a damn disgrace on PBC's part. So after he made that concession all he asked for is complete transparency when it came to the event financing and they refused to give it to him. Just the fact they even offered bud a deal with no guarantee shows what it really is. Bud bent over backwards to every demand. There comes a point where you gotta draw the line. Truth be told he shoulda walked away when they offered him that deal with no guarantee. Now they're gonna have to deal with a fresh and active bud later on. So it's just gonna be worse for them :yeshrug:

Waiting for @theflyest's Crawford troll post.

nah fam

What Crawford is showing the boxing community with this move is this is a power play. He understand his target audience, and showing how to make money independently. He's really changing the game in ways that Floyd could only imagine. With this fight, he accomplishes a great payday. It's a career high payday. He can't turn that down.

In addition, he gets a really solid tuneup prior to the biggest fight of his life. He needs to be the best version of himself, and this tuneup allows for that. Most importantly, the Spence/Crawford fight needs to marinate. What Crawford is doing is he will be promoting the Spence/Crawford fight in the lead up to this tuneup. It's an excellent strategy and great way to build anticipation. I feel Spencer might as well do the same.

I think Spencer should take on Thurman, while Crawford fights Avanesyan. The winners can then fight each other in a mega fight.

You guys have to understand that this is the boxing business. It's prize fighting. You gotta move strategically in this game. The tough fight, ain't always the best fight. All money ain't good money. I wouldn't be opposed if Crawford retired after this fight.

i dont think ive enjoyed a boxing PPV or been satisfied with completely in a min..the last one i paid for (canelo vs plant) was garbage..didnt want to pay it but extenuating circumstance forced my hand
Pacquiao/Morales 1 still the best PPV card I seen. All of the fights were entertaining and the crowd was hyped all the way through. That was the first time I bought a PPV too
