Looking at how well Tyson vs. Jones did commercially in 2020, it's interesting to think what numbers their fight would've done in '03.
Tyson coming off of his career low buyrate (100k vs. Etienne) and Roy coming off of his career high (600k vs. Ruiz), it would've taken place during the only period in their careers Roy had more drawing power.
Tyson was already in the decline in terms of stardom, but could the spectacle of them fighting in a professional bout have come close to their 1.6m buy exhibition? (which was heavily aided by the pandemic).

honestly haney has an opening to leave that alone and say fukk you to that lomachenko fight..lomachenko wouldnt fight all those years ago and lost his belts without rematch clause in place...if i was him id just move to 140...but haney is built different..he will discipline himself back down to that weight
