This is a trap fight for Cinnamon and no one is talking about it. I truly wonder if it was the vegan diet or if Canelo has finally aged in the ring. The Canelo I saw against Bivol could lose to Golovkin. Yes Bivol schooled him and earned the win, but no one is talking about how bad his conditioning was and how it led to him not being able to be effective. I really think Canelo aged. If he has, that GGG fight is not a gimme.
He actually looked similar in the plant fight too. Vs Plant he looked slow and lethargic. Just plodding forward throwing one punch at a time. Even in training you don't really see much combination work anymore. It's all one punch at a time on the punch shield. Barely any video of him doing cardio.

Can't stand Oscar's fakkit ass but he's right that canelo needs to chill on the golf. Canelo says he plays everyday. It takes 3-4 hours to finish a round of golf. And you know he's not putting that amount of time in the gym. I don't think even the pro's play that much. And Golf is more strenuous on the body than people think. That's why golfers are always getting back and leg injuries. Canelo gonna have to get his priorities in order if he still wants to be the best. Also doesn't help that he fell in love with his power.

I expect him to come back strong from here on out. If he looks the same in his next fight then it might be the beginning of canelo's decline. If he can't fight for more than 4 rounds he's gonna struggle with everybody. But I don't think that will be the case. I Just feel this upset was coming due cause he got comfortable. But we'll see:yeshrug:

He was slow against Sergay at 175 last time.
He didnt tire by round 4/5. This fight he was done by round 5.
He looked the exact same as he always looks, he just wasn’t in there with guys like Callum smith, Yildrim, etc, that he can overwhelm.

lol @ nyggas looking for something to blame because he lost a fight.
What were you watching? He didn't perform the same. Like everyone else I believe he was outboxed, and I also believe he wouldn't ever beat Bivol regardless, but he definitely didn't perform like he normally does--meaning he was done with the fight by round 5.

Good catch on the plant fight. Maybe it was just the weight and him getting comfortable. I mean I knew he was feeling himself way too much when he was talking about he could beat anybody in any weight class.

Canelo been giving us nothing but trash fights though. All the other HOF Mexicans gave us like 5 FOTY's by the time they had the number of fights Canelo has now. But nah, go ahead and cook.

Oh yeah let me rewatch the barn burner that was the Jacobs fight. :ohlawd:

no wait, the thrilling fight that he had with BJS, yeah thats a good one. :feedme:

nah better yet, the war he had with the Smith bros. Must of had career mode on GOAT difficulty for that pair. :blessed:

Canelo with his vegan diet looked and fought like he was older than GGG in his last fight. :mjlol:

:hubie: you must have me mistaken I'm no Nelo stan I just think the fight between these two will be trash because GGG is old now and canelo is boring in general if we being real :hubie:

That's usually when fighters get humbled. Same shyt I was worried about with wilder. Once he started talking about no man can beat him and how he wanted to catch a body I knew his time was coming. Same with canelo. You usually never heard him talk about being unstoppable and shyt like that.

At the end of the day No man is unbeatable. Canelo got the humbling he needed. So I'm expecting him to come back with a vengeance. If he doesn't then it could be time to get ready for larry holmes gardens. I just don't think it's the case though. I think we see canelo have one more crazy run of victories before he hangs it up.

Exactly :mjlol:
Dude sued everybody because he didn't want the fight and 2 years later ends up taking it. :gucci:
I been told yall nikkas that he always kept the GGG trilogy as a back up plan for when he has to avoid real smoke. (Bivol 2, Benavidez)

shyt backfired in the worst way because the momentum is in reverse now. :pachaha:

I can’t even front the shyt is smart. Just understanding the business of boxing, my guess is he goes ahead and fulfills his current contract (ggg, and then a bum for the 3rd fight), collects the money, and then negotiates with DAZN again for a Bivol 2/Eurobum package.

If we beinf real Canelo got nothing but Dogs waiting for him. I cant even say GGG will be a cake walk.

Bivol, Benevidez, and Charlo (He needs to make a statement this next fight)

Was thinking about this. If the 3rd DAZN fight is really a rematch instead of a stay busy type fight that will be 3 very hard fights for Canelo in a row.
Not copping pleas but dude might be legit ruined by the time he sees Benavidez or Charlo at this rate.

I expect the GGG fight to be a War, like even if Canelo Wins it will be a slug fest. that kinda wear + a Dec fight more than likely and then turn around and have Bivol again? If he doesn't fight Bivol and doesn't fight Charlo/Benevidez next yr people going to say you might as well just retire.

yep there's no way after the [possible] December stay busy fight, he'll get away with fighting anyone BUT Charlo, Benavidez, Bivol 2. There's no one realistic we'd cosign him fighting

remember what i said yesterday..eddie is going to maximize having canelo under matchroom contract...so if canelo wants to run it back with bivol after GGG 3 well god bless him lol. GGG is a bigger puncher than bivol so win lose or draw Canelo is going to absorb some shyt from him

Andrade-Alimkhanuly WBO Title Bout To Be Ordered, Must Take Place By November 17

The next fight for Janibek Alimkhanuly will either be a first shot at the full WBO middleweight title or his first official defense of the belt.
A destructive second-round knockout of England’s Danny Dignum saw Kazakhstan’s Alimkhanuly emerge as the interim WBO middleweight titlist this past Saturday at Resorts World Las Vegas. Days before the fight, both fighters were notified by the WBO to confirm that the winner would be next in line for full WBO titlist Demetrius Andrade (31-0, 19KOs), who previously sought an interim super middleweight title but is now on the hook for a mandatory defense which must take place no later than November 17, or 180 days from last Saturday’s Alimkhanuly-Dignum clash.
“[T]he WBO Middleweight Champion has up to 180-days after the [J]anibek/Dignum bout to be medically and physically ready, willing, and able to fight the winner of the [J]anibek/Dignum bout,” Luis Batista-Salas, chairman of the WBO Championship Committee noted in an official letter to Top Rank, Matchroom Boxing and the management teams for Andrade, Alimkhanuly and Dignum, a copy of which was obtained by BoxingScene.com.
The title consolidation fight is expected to be ordered 60 days after Alimkhanuly-Dignum, which places the call on or around July 20. From there, Andrade and Alimkhanuly (12-0, 8KOs) will have 30 days to work out terms before a purse bid hearing is ordered to determine promotional rights.
The two sides have already been down this road.
The fight was formally ordered last November 30, less than two weeks after both fighters posted knockout wins one night apart. Andrade stopped Ireland’s Jason Quigley in the second round of a November 19 DAZN headliner in Manchester, New Hampshire, registering his fifth title defense. Alimkhanuly stopped former secondary WBA middleweight Hassan N’Dam N’Jikam in the eighth round of an ESPN Pay-Per-View undercard bout from Michelob ULTRA Arena in Las Vegas last November 20, with manager Egis Klimas immediately calling for a title fight.
Negotiations went nowhere, with Andrade and Matchroom spending more time trying to secure an interim super middleweight title fight with England’s Zach Parker (22-0, 16KOs) than working out terms with Alimkhanuly. A purse bid hearing to determine promotional rights was postponed four times and canceled outright once the WBO agreed to sanction interim title fights at super middleweight and middleweight.
Andrade-Parker was approved but with the two sides unable to reach an agreement. The fight went to purse bid which was won by Queensberry Promotions, Parker’s promoter who sought to stage the event at Pride Park in Parker’s hometown of Derby, England.
Andrade was forced to withdraw from the event due to a shoulder injury requiring surgery. Proof of injury was submitted to the WBO, who was informed that the unbeaten southpaw will be out of the ring until at least September. The rehabilitation period likely ruins any chance of rescheduling a Parker fight, at least not without having to abandon his middleweight title reign outright.
f the WBO Middleweight Champion is not medically and physically ready, willing, and able to fight within the term provided herein, the WBO Middleweight Championship will be declared “Vacant” “Ipso Facto,” noted Batista-Salas. “The WBO World Championship Committee shall recommend to the WBO Ratings Committee that the WBO Middleweight Participant be rated at the number one (1) position in the Middleweight Ratings. Consequently, the WBO Interim Middleweight Champion will automatically be elevated to “Full Champion” status.”
Andrade has held the WBO title since a points win over Walter Kautondokwa in their October 2018 vacant title fight in Boston. Kautondokwa was a late replacement for then-unbeaten WBO middleweight titlist Billy Joe Saunders, who was forced to give up the belt after testing positive for Oxilofrine during random pre-fight drug testing, leading the Massachusetts State Athletic Commission to deny Saunders a license thus leaving him unable to honor his mandatory title defense.
In the event Alimkhanuly is advanced to full WBO titlist, a decision will then be made whether he is afforded an optional defense or if the unbeaten Kazakh fighter will have to face the next highest ranked available contender.
looks like the WBO is trying to screw over Andrade
