No one is interested in a 3rd GGG fight either to keep it 100.
it was either the GGG fight, which is still his biggest money fight in terms of attention or start facing his mandos under the threat of being stripped or rematch Bivol which would see him get his ass kicked some more..it is what it is

I'd prefer him to face his mandos at 168. GGG needs to stay at 160 and unify there.

thats the thing..fast eddie has canelo for only 2 more fights...you know he's trying to maximize that as much as possible for matchroom and dazn...because i have a feeling this might be canelo's last go around with them based off potential big fights for him

benavidez is not a thing for all the talk, al will not let him go on DAZN for that fight
ryder would probably be the choice for the mando but DAZN is still in the GGG business. its the reason why ryder was pencilled as the 3rd fight in the contract and now he might not even get the shot at him at all since canelo wants get back from bivol

The best business decision for all parties imo. Canelo needs to build himself back up before the rematch. The first fight had no buzz and wasn't competitive.
You know damn well the rematch with Bivol would have everyone watching UT this time because is Canelo loses, it's a done deal. He's finished.

Will catch the highlights won't even bother watching this. GGG 47 years old and battleworn, gonna be a trash ass fight.
It's a sorry ass, weak punk ass fight. Canelo ended up looking like a sissy after all...lol. Wonderful. Chump ain't worth talking about anymore. Time to get to real business..Haney taking on ALL OF AUSTRALIA to become Undisputed is what counts...

CHRIS ALGIERI (FORMER JUNIOR WELTERWEIGHT TITLEHOLDER/ COMMENTATOR): CANELO ALVAREZ
“I still have Canelo as pound-for-pound king. He moved up in weight once again and dared to be great against a young talented champion. He fell short to a bigger, younger man, with great skills and a difficult style. Guess what? Size matters. The pound-for-pound listing is based on the fact that Sugar Ray Robinson was so good that in a theoretical realm where weight didn’t matter- he’d whip everyone. And even he moved up to fight Joey Maxim for the light heavyweight title and failed. He moved back down to his natural weight to regain the middleweight championship and wage some of his most iconic fights. Pound-for-pound is a thought experiment – not a reality. Granted, this opens the door for a new king but in my eyes, you can’t “win” pound-for-pound without fighting. If Spence-Crawford happens before Canelo were to fight again, the winner will likely be pound-for-pound No. 1 (and rightfully so). But in the meantime, my number one spot doesn’t change.”
Lol
