Benavidez vs Charlo would be dope but it’s still kinda funny Benavidez baiting a 160er to come up and fight him. He barely makes 168, he should be calling out Plant, it would be a better look.
Besides it really seems like Mall is not high on the idea of facing dude, talking about Benavidez needs to move up and shyt… it’s like he’d be waiting to move to 168 either until a Canelo fight or until Benavidez moves to 175 which is a bad look.

i mean a “near future” fight that makes the most sense is Plant vs Benevidez. Benavidez can use it as his litmus for Canelo. Mall ass shoulda been tryna unify 160 so then he could look like a big draw for going up to 168 and taking on Canelo or Benavidez.

IMO sitting on One Belt only works if you are Tank Davis or Deontay Wilder aka getting dudes out the paint in electrifying fashion and Mall aint did that consistently

No argument about the number of fans in the crowd as this fight had a small crowd

This was just a regular ass fight on Showtime's schedule.

Just a ridiculous blood and guts war with one of the greatest endings of all time

A pyrrhic victory for Chico and the first time JLC is ko'ed off headshots.
