like i said bro...its never been about the platform...lou dibella is the actual problem cuz he finally got a fighter in his stable that actually is the man in his divisions and like a promoter he wants to maximize it....shyt he got aggy right after kambosos won those belts because fans were asking him to make the unification with haney next ...kambosos himself changed his tune from "yeah i need to face haney for all belts" to "yeah i am the undisputed champion"...its a lot of bullshyt and posturing going on

I guess but I still don't know what BS you're referring to that Lou is still on...and those other notable lightweights never wanted any parts of Haney or Loma anyways. Ryan Garcia's career path is just like Tanks- going nowhere competitively. But apparently Tanks last fight with Mayweather Promotions is his upcoming Rolly fight so maybe he leaves MP and goes somewhere that's easier for him to make the fight with Ryan, which is his seemingly best and easiest option to get a big bag.

Ahhh okay i understand the confusion now- The ESPN deal being offered to Haney DOES NOT call for him to sign to Top Rank at all though. The deal is for Haney to have his next 3 fights on ESPN w the first 2 being against Kambosos in Australia (if Haney wins the first time) and the 3rd being against Loma. If Haney wins all 3 fights in a row, he could presumably go anywhere he wants with whatever promoter he wants.

Lou's doing business with ESPN because they're in a financial position to air all these Kambosos fights and finance them. It wouldn't mean Kambosos would have to sign to Top Rank either.

DAZN was only willing to finance and air a Kambosos- Ryan Garcia fight but Garcia wanted a tune up first and DAZN wasn't gonna finance a tuneup for Garcia and Kambosos next just to have them fight later. Haney and Loma however were willing to go str8 into a Kambosos fight. But ESPNs Loma deal had more upside for Kambosos than DAZNs Haney deal. So Team Kambosos were gonna go the ESPN Loma route until Loma dropped out. Once DAZN decided that a Kambosos- Haney fight wasn't financially viable for them, ESPN offered to finance it so that they could ensure there own fighter (Loma) gets a guaranteed shot at the winner.

I don't think Haney can stay at 135 for 3 more fights, especially how slow boxing moves. He'll prolly lose one of them fights just due to weight struggles.

but yeah this is just example #1457 on why DAZN can't make meaningful fights for their black American boxers.
