Good, dramatic fight yesterday, Conlan must be kicking himself rn. The gulf in skills was obvious and had he had just a bit more stamina and not get into unnecessary brawls with a bigger guy he could have locked the W.
A rematch would be welcome, barely anything interesting at 126 anyway. Don't get me wrong though this was dope I'm just talking about the level of the champions here which is one of the if not the weakest in the sport with only Navarrete being the exception as a credible champion.
Kiko Martinez scored a huge upset but we know his level, Wood isn't better than Euro level either, LSC shouldn't even be considered a 126er at this point it's just WBA corruption and Magsayo is one of the more undeserving champions I've seen recently being very fortunate that GRJ injured himself like that.
GRJ might still be the best in this division we'll see how/whether he comes back. Navarrete and GRJ are the only guys at 126 that are really "top guys".
I can see the current set of top 122ers kicking most of these 126er guys' asses if they move up.
