I think he waits til next may. I think he may be over extending himself at this point. Before the saunders fight I thought he would do December. But I wasn't thrilled about his stamina in that fight. He seemed to hit a wall after round 4. Reminiscent of the old canelo. Where he would start strong. Slow down. Then get a 2nd wind around round 8. But ever since the golovkin rematch his stamina had been on point. And the saunders fight wasn't even super high paced for him to get tired like that. He was way more active against smith and never slowed down at all.

I'm thinking all these back to back training camps might be taking a toll. Body prolly needs a rest. So wouldn't be surprised if they take a break until May. Especially since this is the last fight he needs to reach that unification milestone. If he fights in December it'll prolly be somebody light like mungia or Chris eubanks in the UK. He's been saying he wants to go to the UK.

That's why I wanna see him put a quick beating on plant. In case my suspicions are correct. Still don't think plant is good enough to beat canelo even with stamina issues. But it could make things more interesting until canelo inevitably puts him to sleep

I'm not paying for this one cause I feel like the result is a foregone conclusion to most people. Guess we going see what Canelo's drawing power really is and how well they market the unification aspect of this cause I feel like most casuals (and even some diehards) could care less about Plant really

Good to see canelo and PBC finally come to terms on something. Haymon knows there's much bigger fights in the future for canelo than this plant fight. Might as well start a real working relationship. But Canelo finally fighting off wack ass dazn is a gift in itself. Don't gotta listen to wack ass Chris mannix and sergio mora argue like an old married couple anymore ......seeing canelo on a PBC telecast gonna be so lit


This fight will be entertaining in the early going. Canelo will press the action. Plant has a flashy style and will make it tricky at first. I respect plants skillset but he don't have the durability, the consistency, or the chin to last the full 12 with canelo. Once canelo starts timing him and landing bombs he's gonna realize this is some whole other shyt.
