Boxing in 2021 breaks down like this
If youre only checking for a small subset of fighters (personal interests, bias, or the "name" ) and their cards and they happen to be mostly inactive then yeah you prolly wont like it too much
now if you do watch the cards that are readily available on regular TV or stream for fighters than yeah you got some fights to watch. now the number of FOTY caliber fights is not high but thats normal but the number of very good/good/great fights is for this year
PBC on Showtime (regular TV) have been putting out the best cards out there this year, the PPVs not so much (Fury vs Wilder 3 might change that)
PBC on FOX has the shytty matchmaking on paper with the cards not playing out like that due to the upsets that have been happening lately on them which have been entertaining. The PPVs again are a no although Pac vs Spence could change that
PBC on FS1 hasnt made any real impact this year
TR for the most part has good undercards and co mains especially but the main events have been more miss than hit for very specific reasons
regular showtime cards like shobox have been good and theres a nice one this week
on DAZN
The GB cards..one thing you cant front on Oscar is him and his matchmakers know how to make and put on a card from top to bottom. They have had the better cards this year on DAZN
The Matchroom cards - Eddie has been shining in his British and Mexican cards, his American cards not so much. he is very hit or miss with that. A good american matchroom card is like accident lol
Ring City on NBC SN cards have been fire outside of its ever first card...still waiting on a new season
Triller remains to be seen if they can capture that perfect mix of fukkery and good fights like they did with Tyson vs jones. they havent done it this year with the the last Jake Paul fight
Frank Warren cards are by far the worst cards...its good they are not on ESPN+ anymore
the game may stay the same but the players do change
