I like that Floyd’s name isn’t even mentioned like that in this thread. There’s way more to boxing then just him.
And of course there’s nothing wrong with talking about Mayweather, it’s just that trying to compare every single thing to Floyd is just too much. The guy was an anomaly in a different era.
I watch every episode of Ringside with the Lions, so it was dope seeing this episode of Jermall, and noticing the differences between the Charlos.
You see the similarities in the sense that they both keep a tight, family oriented circle. Aside from that different personalities, different physically, etc.
ESPN/Top Rank don't know how to promote their Black fighters besides comparing them to Floyd. You can't watch a Bud Crawford or Shakur fight without them mentioning Floyd.
