i have no idea what Jacobs is doing. He should be a free agent able to go wherever but his last couple of fights lowered his stock
"I think he should finish"

2 years ago I’d have given Jacobs a good chance here cause he can box, he’s tricky, can cause Charlo all kind of problems. As of now though? Jacobs looked like a B-/C+ fighter in his last 2 outings. He may get back his hunger to a Charlo fight but his recent form doesn’t promise any good for him.
Then there's really no reason Charlo shouldn't fight him. He would be the biggest and most accomplished name on his resume by far. And Danny's been calling him out for years.

I think Danny just fights to his competition. After making those huge paydays vs canelo and Chavez it seems like he just got comfortable. I think for a Charlo fight he would bring his A game. Definitely don't see Charlo taking him lightly. Danny still has legit knockout power. Even canelo showed him more respect than any of his recent opponents. Danny will still be A major threat to any top tier guy. The rosado fight was a bad performance but sometimes guys just have an off night:yeshrug:......I would have to see him perform like that again before I think he's washed.

But either way, he still wants Charlo. And Charlo desperately needs a big name and a big fight for his first bout at 168. On top of that he would be fighting a guy canelo also fought. So if he can beat him in devastating fashion or just more decisively than canelo did, it would add even more hype to their matchup. I can't think of a more perfect opponent for him right now.
