The day after. Random thoughts.
-Low key last night was one of the most important nights in recent boxing memory whether you liked it or not.
-That PPV doing 1.5 - over 2 M buys is going to bring attention to the big wigs at Top Rank/ESPN, PBC/FOX/Showtime that they need to invest more money into boxing. It shows that the public will still pay for hype in the sport which is crucial. This event was TOO big to ignore.
-It’s going to be interesting to see what happens. Is there going to be more pressure to build fighters using promo and to make the matchups everyone wants to? I have a feeling it will...we were sort of almost there and this may have pushed it over the edge.

I don't give a damn how much he makes, I don't want fighters to be poor and robbed like they were in older times but other than that I don't care if he has 5 or 30 millions. Common thing in them is they both well enough to make life comfortable after a career in boxing, can't be arsed about how super rich these dudes get nothing in it for me.

This is why boxing is stagnant with fights marinating for 5 yrs and shyt like that
a portion of the fanbase lives vicariously thru these boxers accountants.
Fans will happily justify eating mid bouts for years so a dude already getting historically high purses can get another 2million on the back end after marinating
Just make the fights and who ever is still on top will get the Floyd/Canelo type purses eventually.

that part. All these guys, and i get it because it’s “prize fighting”, wanna marinate every fukking title fight thinking they’re going to get $8 mill and up. The way this shyt moving, let’s be real, 135 not going to get THAT much bigger than it is now. It’ll be more posturing until they fight another step up but easy tomato can later on this year. Crawford not about to fight a meaningful opponent next regardless of how you feel about his dealing with PBC fighters
