Man...that was tough, tough to watch.

I don’t want to see Chuck Liddell and Jake Paul featured in what is supposed to be a new boxing platform’s intro...that’s such a bad look I don’t even know where to start.

Teofimo Lopez is in it playing second fiddle in that clip like some undercard throw away.

Teofimo Lopez just went from beating who people thought was the top P4P guy and getting all the attention on ESPN to this....

Wow, this is bad bad bad for the sport, period.

I don’t care if Justin Bieber brings an audience, the people that will tune in for that will not remember or care.

Yes, Teo, you got the bag...but long term is is a terrible look.

See PBC, THIS is how you get me to pay for Spence-Ugas. A step in the right direction though two unifications on 1 PPV card.
I assume it’ll be like the Charlo Brother’s
PPV card where there’s “2 separate events”. That shyt was entertaining. Just have some nice matchups on both Undercards and Spence/Ugas better Main event the first card and not close the night out. I’m all for it :ehh:

I highly doubt Spence not gonna close out the night, but I'm with you. That Charlo bros PPV was one of the better PPVs in recent memory. Quality fights from top to bottom.

Exactly. Their following right now is also not that big. This is a drop in a bucket fight right now, in 2 years it’s much much better.

is it? Like how big you really expect Boots to get casual sports fan wise in 2 years? He has all the tools but really NO following. Im projecting but in 2023 i can assure that we gonna :mjlol: if we see them headlining a $69.99 ppv

I will say this though, where is the frustration for what is happening at 130 like there is at 147? People keep saying that Valdez-Herring is a good fight to make, and praise Herring for knocking out Frampton, yet shytted on Tank for KOing LSC. The fight to make right now 130 is Tank-Valdez, not no damn Valdez-Herring. Herring needs to gone ahead and job to Shakur so we can get the real best fight at 130 which is Tank-Shakur, but aint none of the other champs there seeming to be real eager to fight Tank though and there is no logical reason why. He is the only proven money maker in that weight class. Valdez-Herring is some Spence-Ugas high level mid grade borderlining on being trash ass fight, yet there isn't a lot of smoke for them. Wonder why? :jbhmm:

I don't think you should compare this to regular boxing, it's a different beast for a different target group. Normal boxing is an outlier here, honestly don't even know why they wanted Lopez vs Kambosos so bad when their profile is built on white collar fights between celebrities, legends doing exhibitions and such in their 50s and other freak show like fights meant to casual fans and people who are interested in a spectacle like that.
I don't view them as the rivals of the big 3 (DAZN, PBC, ESPN) on a grand scale but rather something of a parallel universe that focuses on other things so I didn't even expect it to be anything different.

The freak show fight fad been around for a long time in combat sports, it gets trendy somtetimes then ppl get bored of it and the fad dies, it's not for long term building imo. It got trendy now but who's to say if the trend won't die a year or 2 later, it probably will at a point.
