Dallas' 4 Eva
Superstar
I might have to re-evaluate my Tank Davis fan club membership brehs.
Regis best win from a skilled/live opponent perspective is Relikh. Dude was legit, but got robbed against Rances in their 1st fight. Indongo is the most accomplished name, but his best win is a past it Ricky Burns ( that still beat Relikh) and then you have Flanagan who really ain't nothing special either.
Prograis's extra mid resume is the reason why I picked Josh Taylor to beat him in the first place. Now dude trying to clout chase fights against bigger names when he in a packed division full of contenders.
Dude bytched and moaned about the Hooker fight and all the weight fukkery, meanwhile Hooker already got him a FOTY candidate lined up.
Hooker is extra beatable N would’ve gave him a buzz he desperately needs after the Taylor L
crying over a couple of pounds when it’s not like Hooker is some monster puncher or weight bully ... shyt was dumb af
He then takes a tuneup (ok understandable) N now Redkach .... then won’t fight til 2022 but wants to be Twitter fingers
because he's the weakest champion..something had to be on the line to make it interesting...its amazing what a title upgrade does for your marketability lolFunny how everyone wants to fight Ugas now
Oh yes they will
They're not gonna fumble that bag bro.
Right.
I want Yoka to succeed so France finally some "star" boxer but I feel his style is too bland.Wasn't super impressed by Yoka, his movement looked a bit robotic, and his defense was too conservative, easy to penetrate. Stepped on the gas in the later rounds and he scored that weird looking stoppage afterall but this won't be enough against top 10-15 guys
You have some good boxers, Goulamirian is a factor at 200, Soro at 154, Oubaali at 118 and I like prospects like Christian M'billi and Souleymane Cissokho too, Yoka obviously has potential as well. Plus you have some vets like Takam, Mendy or N'dam.I want Yoka to succeed so France finally some "star" boxer but I feel his style is too bland.
Fundamentally, hes got a very solid jab (not sold on his jab to the body though) and his rear hand has some variety but all seems very textbook. Like he lacks some (french) flair that would make him surprising and a more dynamic boxer.
He has accumulative power so I won't dismiss him against the top 10 because we saw with Joyce that a good jab win fights. I just which he had more slickness to him. His defense is basic and his core combo is still the 1-2-1 that he had in the amateurs. Obviously with his size, it's good he centers his strategy around straights but I just wish he was more inventive.
He's been coached by Hunter for a couple of years now and I still don't see a "it" factor yet. However he said he wanted to fight a top 10 fighter in September so we will definitely know more about his potential to be great by EOY.
