Well...the "other" Cuban Heavyweight is fighting on the undercard, Mike Perez...

Wlad gonna kill this boy :lawd:

Yep in the 6th...I feel bad for the dude, not that it makes any difference but he is a cancer survivor but he tried and he is tough as nails.

So....whose next?

He's already scheduled to face Alexander Povetkin next, unless Povetkin loses in 2 weeks

Floyd said he didnt like rogers health status something to do with diabetes and his eyesight

Wich sucks cause I know ppl that hav lost their vision from diabetes

U would think a guy like roach could work a corner with a pretty sh1tty disease but if ur eyesight is failing that I guess is a huge liability

although what Floyd said about that may have some truth to it as far as his eyesight failing him....I think its more than he makes it out to be. he has said that Roger is slowing down...but the same can be said of Floyd Sr. He has sarcoidosis and that can be problematic and kill you with the quickness. (Bernie Mac died from it)

Roger was still in J'Leon's corner. I think Floyd wants to have FMS in his corner to make things "right" as he closes out his career. It also helps with promotion of a fight like Guerrero which needs a lil booster anyway. Floyd really wants Sr. in his corner and he has always wanted to end his career with his dad and his uncle by his side. I think you will even see Jeff in camp sooner or later. That's how Floyd is. He is painted as a bad guy but he really wants his family and team to be by his side and happy. Without Sr. its possible that none of the Mayweathers would be fighters, especially Jr.

Guerrero is a fighter. He just went in and fell into the same trap as all of Floyd's other opponents. Early he was countering everything Floyd threw with 2 and 3 shots. He was letting Floyd lead though and was only content to counter. Then as Floyd got in his rhythm and timed Ghost....he had Ghost afraid to even counter. So dude was helpless by the 3rd round. Floyd was standing right there with his hands down and Ghost wouldnt pull. Thats because once you get a taste of the accuracy of whats coming back, you hesitate. Once you hesitate against Floyd, its ball game becaue he is playing chess and staying at least one move ahead of you at all times. Very predictable fight. Ghost is still a good fighter and he truly believed he could beat Floyd...until he got in the ring with his and it was like...."damn....I didnt think he was THIS good."

I'm real salty today, would of got my stoppage if Floyd didn't hurt his damn hand...

I felt like I was watching '05 Floyd, his footwork and reflexes were :ohlawd:

and that right hand was like a face seeking missile...He couldn't miss, i think that statline was a staggering 60% power punches landed...That is fukking ridiculous...

props to my dude and the TMT...:salute:

Exactly, it. He became hesitant and started throwing shots without intent just to look like he was actually in there doing something, those are the punches Floyd counters with ease (pull counter against marquez for example off that terribly weak jab).

He seemed content to take his $3m and take a beating at times, he only really remembered he was in a fight when Floyd starteed whipping in those vicious shots like them hard hooks that whipped his head about.

And whilst he is a fighter he put up NO fight at all

It may come as no real surprise to fight fans, but it seems Amir Khan’s days as a 140-pounder have come to an end. The former WBA/IBF light-welterweight champ, in speaking with Steve Lillis of BoxNation, said he is looking at moving up to 147 and challenging the winner of May 18th’s clash between IBF welterweight champ and British challenger (and replacement for the injured Kell Brook) Lee Purdy.

As fans may have read, Khan’s ultimate goal is a massive fight with pound-for-pound king Floyd Mayweather Junior, and a win over Alexander or Purdy might well get Khan what he wants.

“Going up to welterweight and fighting Devon Alexander is a possibility,” Khan, who will meet with Richard Schaefer this week in L.A, told Lillis. “It seems the fights at light-welterweight with Danny Garcia and Lamont Peterson are not getting made. I am not going to wait around for them because one day they will move up. I am getting big for the weight and I am just going to see what Richard Schaefer says when we meet.

“I could be one fight away from the Mayweather fight if things go to plan.”

If Khan does face either Alexander or Purdy next, the fight would take place in December, meaning Khan would fight Mayweather next spring at the earliest. Once again, Khan – who was in Las Vegas last night and had predicted a win for Floyd – repeated his belief that he has the style needed to upset “Money.”

“To beat Floyd you have to beat him at his home game,” Khan stated. “Box him the way he fights. You have to use speed. Of all the fighters who can face him I would have a chance because of my speed. I have got the speed and ability that can cope with him.”

But can Khan get past the talented, once-beaten Devon Alexander?
Interesting........well that frees up Kell Brook........

Mayweather/Brook then? :ld:
