It is way too hard to find full Showtime fights on the internet, their anti-piracy measures must be teflon

fukk this fight :comeon:

"Bu... but the casual audience" fukk them too then:mjlit:

To be serious though I get the short term, monetary sense of this not much else though. I'm not blaming Ryan Garcia for it, he's young, probably really thinks he has a chance. But I just don't see how in long term getting KTFO by a 42 years old Pacquiao is any good for his career. "But he will learn from the loss", nah Pac is a welterweight that has been competing there for more than a decade now, I don't care where he started, he's used to fighting bigger and stronger guys than Garcia, he might just make easy work out of Ryan.

So... he gets money short term but then what? He gonna be trolled the rest of his career by Pactards for getting knocked out by the 42 years old version of the fighting senator.

Overall I just don't like these freak show like fights that openly go for wooing unassuming casual audience who probably can't even tell these guys are 2 division apart

Pac is a legend and still plenty good but I hope he retires cause as long as he's active these dudes (let that be Spence, Bud or these lightweights) will always rather try to fight him - as soon as they get some juice - than guys from their generation, overall not good for the sport. The torch should be passed and then the one who passed it should retire, that's just the order of things. Plus I don't see what's the reason Pac's hanging around other than the hope of landing some freak show fight, he doesn't seem to be keen to collect more belts at 147, he achieved pretty much everything, he's a politician too, so...

I don't have problem with Conlan personally but yes, he's not on that level. Plenty of guys beat him both at 122 and 126
