it's wild. dudes in here talking about not giving fighters credit but these same dudes can't give canelo his props for neutering his opponents. when had we ever seen kovalev or danny jacobs be that gun shy?.....it's been 5 fights in a row now and people still don't understand canelo is giving these guys no choice. you either fight cautious or get slumped.
This why I wanna see the beterbiev fight. That guy doesn't stop coming but canelo shots even at that weight no joke.

So Abel Sanchez was a hater too?......andre ward?......roy jones?.....Cause they all said the same exact thing. Matter of fact that's the whole reason abel got fired. Because he admitted they lost and said golovkin didn't stand there and fight. I don't know why you guys keep doing this. You accuse us of not giving golovkin credit but y'all never give canelo his respect for what he did that night. We NEVER seen anybody make golovkin retreat the way canelo did.

Canelo fought golovkin in that rematch no different than he fought anybody else. He came forward and went to war. It was golovkin who switched up his style and fought more cautiously. He did have his moments where he stood his ground but overall he got backed down most of the fight. How can you possibly dispute this fact when his own trainer admits to it?.....i'm not even sure why we're still talking about this. it's not even opinion, it's just fact. I still gained respect for golovkin as a fighter that night cause he took a savage beating and never wavered. But he still got beat and didn't deliver on his promise to fight "mexican style" that night. yall gotta stop pretending like it was only the "haters" who believe this.

"He didn't follow the game plan....I wanted him to fight canelo. if canelo was gonna stand in the middle of the ring I wanted him to fight canelo. he thought it was better to do the things he did. he had a great jab"

"if you this rah rah guy. and thats what we know you as. why did you choose not to be that guy on the biggest fight of your life?.....there was only one mexican in the ring that night. and that was canelo"- Andre Ward

Look at SOG saying it better than I ever could :wow:

The funny shyt is that if there is a 3rd fight Canelo stops him and won't get any credit either. I mean let's take a look at what both guys have done since fighting each other :laff: like I said I pay attention to what nikkas do not what they say :sas2:

when the dazn dude brought up Golovkin name Canelo went :mjlol:

GGG gonna get beaten in the 3rd fight and i hate to say that. if he doesn't KO Canelo, no chance he wins

But never give Nelo his props when ive said he'd win a 3rd fight.....

How you walk someone down and they never touch the ropes? And nobody NOT givinf Nelo his props. You stay defensive about him
Walking someone down just means you're coming forward and your opponent is going backwards. Golovkin spent most of the fight on his back foot. I'm not sure how him not touching the ropes changes that fact.

You guys are the ones that keep bringing up this debate that's been dead for years. Everytime canelo wins y'all gotta make it a point to get golovkin into the discussion. And that's cool. But you can't turn around and get mad cause we respond back. That's how this works. It's a discussion board. It seems like you just want everybody to agree with your narrative. I posted a video of golovkins own trainer saying golovkin didn't stand his ground and fight canelo. I posted quotes of Hall of Fame fighters saying golovkin got backed down. It's not a matter of opinion. it's a fact. Golovkin still showed a lot of heart in that fight cause most fighters woulda went down from the damage he took. But the fact remains he did not fight like his normal self. His own trainer admits this.....once again......His OWN trainer admits this. There's really nothing to argue after that.

No doubt about this. YOu know i've been a huge GGG fan and hate to see him take the L last night but it wasn't because he didn't perform well, hell I thought he won but I also feel that a Canelo decision wasn't a shock as he did more than enough to secure the decision. Dude showed me last night, more than anything, that going forward, you better fight the fight of your life to beat him and I don't see anybody at 160 who can do it.

Jacobs? Nah. Doesn't have the skills of Nelo nor power to hurt Nelo

Charlo? Has the power, but was has he done to make you seriously think he'd beat Nelo?

Lemeuix? He has the power, but Nelo would BJS him the whole night and then end it with a body shot

BJS? No power to keep Nelo honest

Andrade? We'll know more about him after the BJS fight but i'd still favor Cinnamon over him

GGG? On his way out and I feel that he just CAN'T emotionally get up for a third Nelo fight. Especially closing in on 40 years old. He looked emotionally exhausted after the fight. That fight took more out him emotionally than anything imo.

But i never give Canelo props or want everyone to agree with my narrative. Go on...

Canelo not letting him =/= him not trying.

Did you watch the same fight I did? When did Smith try to establish his jab? He kept closing the damn gap trying to land that short right uppercut that was off all night because Canelo saw it coming from a mile away. He fought small the whole time and got beat up like a small guy.
