I think if anyone used it for money laundering it's the people behind it rather than the promoters.

too many baseless conspiracies on here lately. Dazn received billions in funding from legitimate groups with existing track records and presumably those funding rounds passed muster in the jurisdiction that the deals were made (US/UK). Besides raising way more money, the money behind Dazn is no different than the bread Haymon raised for PBC.
Besides laundering money by losing hundreds of millions a year while giving out record pay days would be horribly inefficient
