I have a lot of respect for Mark and he was a great fighter but he was somewhat of an enabler already, but it may be very bias due to the relationship. I agree he should leave, Wilder was disloyal in public and disrespected him, I'd leave straight away due to self respect, but I don't blame Mark for staying cause it may be due to the personal relationship, but the way he treated him was disgraceful and I personally just couldn't stay after that. shyt's gonna be mad awkward now...
What's gonna happen if Wilder is getting his ass beat in another fight but much worse? Are they just gonna let it continue now and let him take it? It's a dangerous situation. How will Mark be able to throw the towel in again?

Wilder-Ortiz II Exclusive Rebroadcast Debuts March 1 on FS1

On the heels of Deontay Wilder’s first career loss, boxing fans can relive the former heavyweight titlist’s most recent win.
Fox Sports has announced plans to launch an exclusive rebroadcast of Wilder’s repeat knockout win over Luis Ortiz, which will make its cable premiere on Sunday, March 1 at 10:00pm ET on FS1. The airing comes more than three months after their rematch originally aired live on Fox Sports Pay-Per-View last November from the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Wilder rallied from behind on all three scorecards after six rounds to drop and stop Ortiz (30-2, 26KOs; 2NC) in the 7th round of their title fight. The feat marked the 10th—and final—successful defense for Alabama’s Wilder (42-1-1, 41KOs), although his most recent return to the MGM Grand didn’t quite play out quite as well, as the previously unbeaten titlist saw his reign come to a bitter close following a 7th round knockout loss to England’s Tyson Fury in their rematch last Saturday.

The pair of rematches coming back to back proved fitting for Wilder, who also fought Ortiz and Fury in succession as part of his 2018 campaign. Wilder outlasted Ortiz in their March 2018 thriller, surviving a hellacious 7th round to drop and stop the Miami-based Cuban southpaw in the 10th round of their first fight—which took place almost two years to the day of the rebroadcasting of their PPV rematch.
Nine months after turning away Ortiz, Wilder required a pair of dramatic late-round knockdowns to escape with a split decision draw over Fury in their December 2018 title fight in Los Angeles.
Dating back to the first fight with Fury, three of Wilder’s last four fights have topped a PPV telecast. Wilder-Fury I was the main event of a Showtime PPV which sold roughly 325,000 units. The rematch with Ortiz fell just shy of 275,000 PPV units sold, down from an originally sourced projection to BoxingScene.com which had sales landing between 275,000-300,000 buys.
Fury-Wilder II far outperformed those two events, with the joint venture by ESPN and Fox Sports generating between 750,000-80,000 PPV buys as recently reported by BoxingScene.com senior writer Keith Idec.
As was standard industry practice, Showtime replayed Wilder-Fury I on its flagship network one week after the live PPV event. Fox Sports has changed that trend beginning with its PPV debut last March, which saw Errol Spence defend his welterweight title in a 12-round whitewash of Mikey Garcia in a battle of unbeaten pound-for-pound entrants. The exclusive rebroadcast didn’t come until July 1, more than three months later.
A similar has since come with its three subsequent PPV offerings—the July 27 welterweight title fight between Manny Pacquiao and Keith Thurman making its cable debut on October 27; Spence’s 12-round win over Shawn Porter in their September 28 welterweight title unification bout first rebroadcast on December 28, and now Wilder-Ortiz II launching just more than three months later.
