I don't understand why people leave out the fact that Ward filed a lawsuit against Lloyds of London for a $6.3M policy claiming he can't box anymore due to a knee injury.

LOL @ Chavez Jr getting 6 million.

No wonder he doesn't want to ever build his career up properly.

He'll take his loss and disappear as usual until something else comes up.

It's not even just that, Ward is a professional. For him to take a fight like Canelo, he most likely views that as a 3 fight commitment. That means he would have to spend the entire year (2020) making a comeback in which he would fight tuneups. A guy like Ward just isn't going to come out of retirement and fight Canelo in his first fight. He doesn't take shortcuts.

But that has been brought up, I'm saying the lawsuit isn't mentioned at all and while that is proceeding he literally can't box.

Best believe he would if the money he could make against Romelo far exceeds that amount. It's a business decision.

What a surprise breh...one high stake unification this year didnt make this list

When you're a master classmen you don't let C level guys take you to deep waters :russ:......and since you quoted breadman, let's take a look at his opinion of canelo after his recent performance:jawalrus:

"Everyone can improve. Everyone needs work. Constantly work on your shortcomings. Canelo had plenty of them when we first saw him but look at him now. He’s a complete fighter. Canelo is actually a MASTER CLASSMEN at this point. That’s the place where great fighters go where they get the most out of their ability and they evolve to a point where their physical skills, meet their IQ. Canelo may or may not be the best fighter in the world right now. But the level that he’s operating on is a level very few have reached. He’s so good at this point, he can literally practice on things in a real fight that I have seen fighters not be able to practice in sparring because they’re getting hit. Because of this, the fight has slowed DOWN for Canelo. He can SEE everything.

What I am about to say is NOT a P4P ranking. But it’s a Master Class Status. The fighters who are there are Canelo, Pacman, Juan Estrada, Terence Crawford and Loma. All MASTER CLASS MENS. Special Place I tell you.

No Canelo is NOT ducking Charlo or Andrade. But I would love to see the fights. Those guys have to build legacies, take and win tough fights and make the fans demand the fight. They can fight each other. But that doesn’t mean they won’t give Canelo tough battles. I think they both have a chance to beat him."

Canelo the Master Classmen. Has a nice ring to it:blessed:

:gucci: Damn..SOG aint want the smoke with Nelo?? Disappointed
He prolly feels like he has a good thing going with his commentating career. Plus you already know he's super religious. If he comes back and loses he's prolly gonna feel like he went against "gods plan". And let's be real. Canelo will be the best fighter he's ever fought. And ward isn't gonna be the same guy that beat kovalev. Maybe he can get to 90% of that, but he's not gonna escape a fight with canelo without taking some punishment. If he was just removed from retirement I think he would jump on it. But considering that he's gonna need one tuneup fight at the very least, he prolly doesn't think it's worth the trouble.

You continue to reference that "horseshyt" fight everyday but we're the ones still stuck on it. Ok :mjlol:
