Showtimes boxing schedule has been pitiful this year.. No need to even keep the channel if your keeping it for boxing.. Switch to dazn and espn plus.. Then get all the pbc fights on fox lol

I remember Arum basically predicted that both HBO & Showtime would eventually move away from boxing, with HBO being the first to go. Sure enough, it eventually happened.

He said the premium networks had their time, but it's over.

He's one of the best guys to listen to when it comes to the business of boxing.

Crawford may as well be retired at this point. Pretty worthless year for a nikka at the top of p4p lists. You fighting some guy who name is literally a keyboard smash.

Only nikka having a more quiet year than Bud is Leo Santa Cruz. :snoop:

It's crazy to believe that if he retired right now, he would be a Hall of fame guy with that resume based on his accomplishments (I have no desire to debate this).

But hey, here's a guy that's been a title holder in 3 different divisions and became undisputed, which is damn near impossible due to the politics of boxing.

The fact that you can even have these accomplishments with that type of resume is sad.

Let's not forget he made 5.5 million in his last fight.

:mjlol:WTF kind of career is this. I don't think I've seen anything like it. Cruised through 3 weight classes, mediocre resume, top tier WW money. Why would he ever leave top rank?

Bob Arum the GOAT promoter and finesser:wow:

Gamboa is still his best win and stiffest test (stoppage be damn).

I still think PAC would have beat him and if Arum was offering PAC the right money he would have taken the fight. I doubt Arum really wanted him to fight PAC. Arum didn’t want to risk his new cashcow sinking.

I want him to be a force cause he’s a supreme talent and that’s needed in the Heavyweight division but it would be amusing if Usyk didn’t dominate/be successful.

Who was the most recent dominant CW that failed at Heavy?
