I'm not blaming Hearn or DAZn for getting this, it will bring a big viewership to them.
Idk how many of these "new fans" will stick though, I doubt they will care about the real fights, probably most of them won't even tune in to that part, they are interested in watching 2 people they know from their subculture punching each other in the face, that's about it. Don't think that this will earn many long term subscribers for DAZN or many new boxing fans... The YT crowd are more into E sports than anything else if it comes to sports and ain't no problem with that but I'm just saying they probably won't be hooked because of this. It's like a parallel universe :yeshrug:
I guess for DAZN it's good if just every 20th of these dudes becomes a regular subscriber.
Btw... broadcasting E sports would be a good idea too to both ESPN+ and DAZN. It's steadily gaining popularity and if there's a way to get hold on young fans this is it.

I don't really get why these dudes have to turn pro for this though... What they are getting out of that?
Someone on twitter told me it's cause they can have a boxing undercard this way and they won't have to war headgears.

You can see it from miles that he only tries to downplay DAZN because they are a rival of PBC, or eve more as it represent streaming as opposed to television.
If it's such a BS then why bigger names than Davis chose it? If it's good enough for Canelo or GGG for multiple fights it must be good enough for Gervonta Davis too for one fight.
