i loved those few rounds they were playing chess in the pocket
Chess Cotto was getting his ass whooped, while Floyd was giving him dap mid combo......

What troubled Floyd a boxer puncher by nature, is by round 4, Floyd was blanking him easily engaged in a full out war(which Floyd likes on the low); and Cotto shuffled his hand and started to move and box; and it took 3-4 rounds to change it up himself

Any fighter who looks impressive and may seem like he has elite tools but falls short?

Boxing news: Callum Smith considering offers to leave Eddie Hearn for rival promoter, Hearn responds

Callum Smith may be about to split from Eddie Hearn and join a rival promoter, according to his trainer Joe Gallagher.
The WBA and Ring Magazine super-middleweight champion, widely regarded as the best in the division, claimed his crown by knocking out George Groves in the World Boxing Super Series final last September, but has fought just once since.

Smith took time out following the birth of his daughter and returned with a knockout of Hassan N’Dam on Anthony Joshua’s undercard in June.
Hearn previously stated than he was planning for the 29-year-old to headline a Liverpool show in September/October, though this is yet to materialise and now it appears we know why.
Gallagher told Sky Sports rival promoters had made contact and said: “Callum has a few lucrative offers on the table. He is considering them because they could lead to big fights. His head has been turned.
“We’re now waiting to see what Eddie can offer Callum. Callum wants big-name US-based fighters like Sergey Kovalev, Canelo, David Benavidez and Caleb Plant.”

Hearn recently signed WBO super-middleweight champion Billy Joe Saunders, but has no plans to make an in-house unification fight later this year.

He responded by saying: “We are planning Callum’s next fight for October time before a huge fight in the spring, most likely at Anfield.

“Obviously in signing Billy Joe Saunders we have the perfect opponent for a huge domestic fight.

“But Callum is also in the mix for all the big names on [US broadcaster] DAZN including Canelo Alvarez and Gennady Golovkin.”

I see nikkas throwing logic all the way out the window because of their hate for Canelo:skip:

Yea it is the small possibility of Kov just trying to cash out...but can you blame him. 36 years old and having legal troubles. A canelo fight the new lottery :whoo:

I think he comes to fight tho...

Like the other brehs said Callum Smith is the harder fight TbH..but the Kov fight is the second hardest. If I was Canelo I wouldn’t give them other 160 fighters a shot until they beat a live body (GGG, Andrade) GGG wont even say Andrade name but y’all saying Canelo ducking him :dwillhuh:when it was all ready predetermined that he will fight Andrade if Kov lost.

A young Canelo didn’t duck a prime Lara but now in his prime he going to duck a BOO BOO Andrade..

Canelo is a lot of shyt but he ain’t a ducker...y’all need to get that hate out your heart...:scust:

oh yeah height. Maybe later down the line. I feel his style is a problem for the taller guys

i dont have an issue with an usyk vs spong..you gotta acclimate to the division right..spong is not a great boxer but is plenty strong and can punch..so it will be a good showcase
