Kovalev has shown being more "Chinny" so I can see why some people feel that way.

GGG has an iron chin and one of the best ever i've seen in my 60+ years of watching Boxing. Pirog's KO on Danny was a one off in a sense. JCC is a fakkit.
Danny also has been dropped twice outside of that fight so if he was going to KO somebody it would be a sunken down Danny

The truth is this.. nikkas dont like Canelo, and have some sorta personal gripe.. So what they're doing is trying they're best to slight Kovalev since its potentially Canelo's next opponent. shyt is hilarious they really wanna convince you Demetrius Andrade who is at Middleweight(who ain't done shyt at 154 or 160) is a tougher fight than a guy 2 divisions and 15lbs heavier, just because he's coming towards the back end of his career.. fukk experience and level of opponents faced.. fukk Kovalevs ability and skillset.. That goes out the window all because of DooDoo Andrade :mjlol:
I like Andrade a lot and I think he would be the toughest stylistic matchup for Canelo at 160 but I don't think he's a harder fight for him than Kovalev

as for the Pascal vs Browne stuff while I was happy for Pascal's W, that fight rather exposed Browne as a lesser fighter than many thought he is than anything else. If Kovalev isn't durable and hasn't got a good chin what to say about Browne...?
I'd be surprised if anyone would confidently pick Browne to beat Yarde at this point.

Good point.. However, Browne's win over Badou Jack>>>>Anything Yarde has done by far.

Right not arguing that. He wouldn't be able to clinch as much a natural, physically strong 175er though. Also Jack is pretty methodical in his approach what didn't help him in that fight at all. Browne had all short of problems with Pascal's athletic, lunging punches. Yarde is throwing those kind of shots too plus dude took Kovalev's punches for 8-9 rounds before he stopped coming forward.
First and foremost Yarde needs to work on his conditioning, maybe too much muscles.
As for Browne he needs to work on his defense, pulling back his hands in time, Pascal KD him with the same shot in the same situation twice.

Word with the way Browne was getting tagged against Pascal, Yarde could definitely put some serious hands on Breh in the first half of the fight. That would be a dope matchup down the line after they get one or 2 'get-backs'.

Either way 175 is one of the better divisions and unpredictable as hell.

Pascal came into that fight fighting dirty and swinging for the fences.. he got into Browne's head leading up to the fight with the wife batter rants.. I think Marcus Brown just had an off night personally

Browne was winning rounds until he would get caught and dropped with Pascal's counter Rights. Would have been interesting if it went the distance (if Browne werent going to get stopped) cause with PBC wanting to keep his 0, Scorecards would have been fukkery.. cause you legitimately could have made a case of Browne winning more rounds.

Maurice Hooker Moving To Welterweight, Wants Big Fights

Maurice “Mighty Mo” Hooker (26-1-3, 17 KOs) has revealed that he will move up in weight class from super lightweight to welterweight division as he begins training for his next fight.

Winning the junior welterweight world championship title and defending the belt three times, Hooker enjoyed his spectacular run as the WBO titleholder, and is now looking forward to a new and exciting phase of his career. The welterweight division boasts some of biggest names in boxing - Manny Pacquiao, Terence Crawford, Errol Spence and many more. Hooker’s goal is to put on an exciting show in his new weight class and win a world title at 147 lbs. as soon as possible.

“I feel my last couple of performances in the ring have been impacted by the 140 lbs. weight limit,” said Hooker. “I want to give my fans the best possible performances and therefore after careful deliberations with my manager and promoter, I have decided to move up to the 147 lbs. limit. I know I’ll be much stronger and closer to my natural weigh and I’m looking forward to joining the talented welterweight division and feel very good about my future continuing my boxing career as a welterweight.”

In his last fight on July 27th, Hooker was defeated by (then) WBC Champ Jose Ramirez (25-0, 17 KOs) in a World Title unification match back and forth brawl that saw the Dallas-native go down in a sixth-round technical knockout at the College Park Center in Arlington, Texas.

Despite the loss to Ramirez, Hooker is confident that he will rise to the top again, with this change to a higher weight class. Hooker will look to have his first fight back before the end of the year as he continues his journey to reach his goal of becoming world champion once again as a top pound for pound boxer.

“Maurice has thrilled boxing fans for the past year as the World Jr. Welterweight Champion, but now is the right time for him to make this move to welterweight,” said Roc Nation Sports boxing promoter Dino Duva. “He’s 6’-1” and 30 years old, so it has been a struggle to continuously make 140 lbs. There are many exciting matchups for him at 147 lbs., and he will be much stronger and more comfortable at this weight. Maurice will have his first fight back before end of year, most likely in December. After that, we will aim high for matchups with the big boys like Manny Pacquiao, Terence Crawford, Errol Spence. Watch out, because Mighty Mo is coming for the 147 lbs. division!”

“Maurice has had a great run at 140 lbs. and now it’s time for a new chapter in one of the most glamorous divisions in the sport,” said Hooker’s co-promoter at Matchroom Boxing, Eddie Hearn. “I really believe this extra weight will suit him so well and we look forward to his return later this year and seeing him in huge fights in the welterweight division in 2020.”

interesting...

Facts, but Browne's hot and cold ass, refused to jab consistently to keep Pascal from being Pascal. :snoop:

nikka fumbled an easy showcase fight and let 2019 still be the year of the old nikkas.

GGG fanboys are trying to tear down kovalev just in case Canelo jumps up 2 weight classes and beats him :russ:

Kovalev is still a champ and is two weight classes bigger. He's supposedly "washed" but dominated the guy who KO'd him and stopped Yarde.

A light heavyweight champ should not lose to a middleweight jumping up 2 divisions. :camby:
