Y’all could never convince me Andrade is a harder fight than moving up 2 divisions from middleweight to whoop Kovalev. That’s reaching RJJ/Hopkins level stepping up

just like ya'll could never convince me that a 36 year old that just went life and death with a prospect that doesn't spar is a harder fight than Andrade that just washed a guy that Jacobs struggled with.
I wasn't impressed with Kovalev like that in the Yarde fight. Dude got hit too much, looked slower, stamina was shyt. If you think he looked good, then that's you. I respectfully disagree.

nikkas is looking at the size of Kovalev, but not his durability which is the bigger problem. Just like nikkas thought Fielding would be a decent test and his big ass got folded quickly. Not saying Kovalev would get folded like that too, but the possibility is there,, especially in the middle or late rounds.

I think Callum Smith is the hardest fight for Canelo right now. He has Kovalev size, but is actually in his prime. I'd put GGG and Andrade behind him as for as difficulty.

Kovalev needed to look like he did in the Alvarez rematch to actually hype this fight. nikka looked too vulnerable. I think he food for the other champs too, not just Canelo.

Yea and that prospect was a big ass Light Heavyweight.. Canelo is middleweight. 15lb weight difference not including rehydration..

Who thought Fielding would be a test?? You?:mjlol: that shyt was tune up

Again.. you thinking Kovalev is food for the other LHWs is not the same as being food for a middleweight jumping up 2 divisions. Other light heavyweights and middleweights DO NOT equal.. And whose to say Kov don’t beat the other LHWs them dudes are not proven.. And neither is Andrade

nikka walks into every fight with the judge advantage. :mjlol:
How many advantages do we have to give a guy that's supposed to be at the pinnacle of the sport. :hhh:

Dude should fight Andrade, but that's the harder fight so :manny:

I'm a long time Boo Boo supporter but nah, none of the 160 dudes would be a better win at this point than Kovalev. Divisions exist for a reason and Kovalev is still a top guy in a deep division, people go over the top with how over the hill he really is. Alvarez barely won a round against him on the rematch, Yarde won like 2 rounds against him. I'm not arguing that he's past his prime and that he's an easier picking than the likes of Bivol and probably Gvozdyk/Beterbiev at this point but you can look at it from the "He barely lost 2-3 rounds in his last 2 fights against good opponents" pov too, not just from the "He was hurt bad by Yarde in the 8th and slowed down" point of view.

Still none of the 160 dudes would be considered a better win than Kovalev, a top guy at 175, past prime or not.

Saying Boo Boo would be a harder fight is like saying Spence would be a harder fight for Crawford than Golovkin or something of that vein.
Kovalev can jab and move too, he can make Canelo's life absolute hell in the ring, I like Canelo a lot and rooting for his success but not sure at all if he can beat Kovalev. He has a very god chin... against dudes at 160. He has solid power... against dudes at 160. Can he hurt a 175er? How he takes a strong 175er puncher's punches? And then the other big question can he slip his way into a range where he can connect some big body punches or Kovalev will keep him the end of his long punches and Canelo will struggle to get any momentum going...? Some 160 dudes have longer reach than Kovalev on paper but it's still different when Andrade, Charlo and Jacobs wanna keep you off themselves and when a hard hitting 175er Kovalev does it.

nikkas was saying Canelo was challenging himself by moving up.
When cats were shytting on the fight, mad nikkas was making excuses for it. You can read the thread anytime and see for yourself.

You know damn well I never said Fielding was a test or anything of substance. :hhh:

fukk all that shyt tho.

Who do you pick to win between Canelo and Kovalev? Just answer that.

You the same dude that was in here not too long ago acting all bent out of shape when it looked like Canelo was being forced to fight Andrade. You were mad that GGG wasn't being forced to fight Andrade, even though Andrade already shared 154 with Canelo for years.

Those posts told me in so many words, that you lowkey think Andrade is a tough fight for Canelo, so I don't need to read the rest of your post. :francis:

Kovalev is as bout as hot and cold as BJS now. I'm not picking him to beat shyt right now, but ya'll go head. :mjlol:

:mjlol: stop it... nikkas were talking shyt because Canelo was doing something ggg refused to do and it got rubbed in ggg stans faces.. EVERYONE knew this was a stay busy fight and a showcase for DAZN.. There was no reason to give an excuse for the fight after he just beat ggg..

As far as who wins... I have no clue.. This is uncharted territory for Canelo and a way better feat for Canelo if he wins than beating Demetrius Andrade who hasn't done shyt at 154 or 160
