Lol if golovkin or kovalev joined people would die. They have actual footwork and hit like trucks. FFS kov dropped dudes with jabs to the body. That ain't normalI watched some of this if I was awake already but didn’t stay up for the last 2 fights.
Pro:
- well I guess there’s some guaranteed action. Most of the times.
- They kept things short and fast, no national anthems, no long ass walks etc...
Cons:
- this was carny as fukk, it really had this toughman competition vibe what MMA had years ago. With the ring announcer going apeshyt on the mic, the jacked skinhead ref

- I also thought there would be more KOs if they are going at it with only bandages but guess that’s just me being under informed.
I guess this is either the early, freak show like state of this sport, similarly how MMA used to be like this but it will evolve, or it will stuck being a very small niche sport watched mostly by MMA fans on the side of their main sport.
- Skills didn’t play a big part as far as I saw which was both because the fighters either couldn’t really box or they were washed and because this is a different sport afterall. Still, no disrespect to these fighters who are making their mark in bareknuckle but it felt like a good boxer with a little pop in his prime would clean up all these dudes pretty quick. Not gonna happen anytime soon though cause there’s no money in it compared to high level pro boxing.

He might just get that charge for having loaded wraps like margoi just read @aceboon post that randall bailey fight was cancelled.....his opponent definitely was seeing his life flash before his eyes and was prolly like "nah..this rangy nikka can kill me with one shot..let me cancel this fight"

Dunno why some ppl thought washed ass Paulie would be some champion of pro boxing in this bareknuckle shyt (and why this mattered at all). He got put away in a miserable fashion by a domestic UK level dude on his last fight more than 2 years ago, he has brittle hands, he is 38, he was always a weak puncher and he probably hasn't done much training since he retired either. Add that he has a very defensive style which usually doesn't translate well into a toughman competition like stuff like bareknuckle, hell it often doesn't go over well in pro boxing either.
honestly this gives conor mcgregor more credibility that he gave paulie that work in that sparring outside of that clip that was shown

Mans the softest puncher I've ever seen. It takes talent to get the wins he got with those jello hands at that level but he is the absolute worst candidate to do crossover in combat sports. Lmfao artem has more losses than wins and only stayed in the ufc because he's butt buddies with mcfakkit, and he got fuggin t-rex arms. Paulie will never live this down

im still trolling boxing fans on social media. I saw something like this coming honestly because on bareknuckle the clinching is longer and there are openings there doing dirty boxing you ain't used to. Hell inside fighting im general is becoming a lost artYeah but I ain't stressing over that
