Cotto moves up to 147 in his debut and beat the shyt out of this guy.
Yea and Paul beat the guy who whooped Cotto's ass(margarito). He also fought prime Sergio Martinez to a draw. His track record proves that the Quintana loss was a fluke. But either way, the only thing that matters is that Paul avenged that loss in spectacular fashion. And Joshua is gonna have to do the same. But AJ don't got the heart pwill does. That's what really matters here.

I don't care that joshua got beat. It's HOW he got beat that's disappointing. After the 3rd round, he lost all of his passion. He looked depressed. His demeanor in the corner told you everything. He didn't wanna fight anymore. When he spit out the mouthpiece you already knew what time it was. AJ was basically begging the ref to stop the fight at that point. Mentally I don't think he'll ever be the same again. This feels like a victor ortiz-maidana situation. AJ had the soul beaten out of him.

If his heart isn't in the fight game, he better move on to bigger and better things. I'm sure dude will still be a star in the UK without boxing. He could prolly even get that Hollywood money and start doing action movies. I just don't think he loves fighting anymore. Or if he ever did.

Meldrick Taylor Facing Charges After Armed Standoof With Police

According to NBC News, former world champion and Olympic gold medalist Meldrick Taylor is being charged for his alleged role in an armed standoff with Philadelphia police.

According to the local police, officers responded to a North Philadelphia property late Monday night after a 26-year-old man claimed hat Taylor pulled a revolver on him while trying to evict the man from a first-floor apartment.

The man claimed that Taylor, 52, pointed the gun after the 26-year-old informed Taylor that he needed to give him days to vacate the property rather than force him to leave the next morning, police said.

When officers arrived and knocked on the door of the home, Taylor screamed, “I ain’t coming out,” police said.

SWAT was called in and Taylor eventually surrendered after about 90 minutes, investigators said.

The Philadelphia native was charged with aggravated assault, terroristic threats and weapons charges.

Taylor had a distinguished boxing career highlighted by his Olympic gold in the featherweight division at the 1984 Los Angeles Games.

Taylor also twice held welterweight crowns, but his professional career is best known for his two losing efforts against Mexican legend Julio César Chávez. The first bout in 1990 is regarded by many as one of best drama-filled fights in the history of the sport.

Taylor, who was leading on the scorecards and seemed to outbox Chavez for most of the fight, was dropped in the final seconds of the twelfth round - prompting referee Richard Steele to look him over and wave off the fight with seconds remaining on the clock. Steele's decision to stop the fight is still a hot topic of debate among fans of the sport.

damn meldrick...not like this :snoop:...that brain damage :francis:..my man needs help with whatever made him do this

I think that’s Spence next right after Porter
This Demarco fight is unnecessary imo...
He pulled an upset out of his ass somehow when he beat an undefeated prospect but other than that dude's past his prime for a long time and he's 2-4 on his last 6 fights, one of those 2 is against a journeyman.

nikkas already know Tank zero won't get threatened with the comp he facing unless he has some type of freak accident or his jobber opponent seizes the moment big time. :manny:
If he keeps fukking around blowing up 2X the size between camps, then trying to squeeze his ass back to 130 he might lose to some unheralded guy who simply comes in fit as opposed to him.
