from the home of coca-cola, i'm not referring to s
Fury's right in that the WBC is trying to undercut Whyte.
Not necessarily because they feel Whyte beats Wilder but because they are in a pact with Wilder/PBC in HW and Whyte - while he said he's independent - is still kinda a Matchroom guy who are more and more at odds with the WBC. If they would order that fight and it would go to pursue bids Matchroom/DAZN would very likely win it and they would be in an awkward situation cause they paved the way for Wilder vs Whyte on DAZN while they are friends with PBC not DAZN/Matchroom.
That's why they are doing everything to make it impossible for Whyte to get in that mandatory position. Obviously they knew that Whyte vs Fury fight wouldn't happen and before that they tried to randomly employ Ortiz as Wilder's policeman, also when Whyte was first on their list they just suddenly put Breazeale in front of him and ordered him as mando.
I don't say that Whyte cannot be blamed for anything but it definitely seems like the WBC isn't as found on him being Wilder's mandatory as let's say Breazeale (an easy, in-house fight to make for Wilder).

It's not like they would be in alliance with one promoter only in the whole sport though, I guess it's about the money, in 160 they like Canelo the most and if Oscar and Canelo won't tell them to do so they won't order Canelo to face the PBC fighter Charlo. Seeing that Canelo has other attractive (for fans) options like Andrade for undisputed, a third GGG fight or even 168 guys Charlo might be in for years waiting till he can face Canelo or maybe never.

Either way they are fukked up.

Not even that deep. Only reason Whyte silly ass is ranked #1 is because he won the silver belt. All he has to do is fight any final eliminator the WBC orders and he becomes mando. Brazeale became thr mando because he fought a top 15 wbc contender since Wilder fought his last mando and Whyte hadn’t at that time

This is going to sound harsh but I could careless whyte has had chances to be the mando but hasn’t taken them because they are high risk low reward. They ordered Ortiz last year and he said he wouldn’t fight him Because he speaks no English but who is the guy he fighting on July 20th some would say a less skilled version of Ortiz that doesn’t speak English.

Yea I said I don't say you can't blame Whyte for anything but seemed to me like the WBC ordered Ortiz vs Whyte just to make Whyte go away or if not then to have Ortiz as Wilder's policeman. They are with Wilder like they are with Canelo in 160, although not as valuable for them as Canelo.

Feeling bad for Dogboe. It’s only a year or so that he “blew up” with putting away Magdaleno, fun, symapthetic new face, lands an American contract and then he immediately on his first defense runs into an upset and somebody he can’t beat.
Now just a year after his breaktgrough he’s past 2 beatings and possibly damaged goods, talking about moving up to 126 while he’s small for even a 122er with his 5’2 :francis:
But that’s boxing... shyt like this happens
