I have to add with Crawford-Khan, no one believed Khan was going to win that fight at all.

With Spence-Garcia, you had people actually believing Garcia was going to win.:mjlol:

i dont remember his exact weight but if you go back and watch toney from holyfield, rydell booker, john ruiz, dominick guinn he looked so quick and agile. it was like he could move quicker and therefore think quicker than a lot of heavyweights. being quick at heavyweight is such an advantage cause those guys never see anything like that. tommy loughran and jack dempsey would spar lightweights and welterweights just to improve their reflexes. loughran said if he could hit them he knew he was sharp. then toney ballooned in weight dramatically against rahman and then peter. he never recovered from that. except for that rahman rematch. thats the last time you can see an in shape james toney.

That was the crazy thing. He's an oddity because even with heavyweights he would fight inside. Against Peter he wasn't in his best shape but he still baffled him in the 1st. Pete had his number in the 2nd. He ballooned up a ton in part because he never really liked doing conditioning and his sparring was his workout. Holyfield was discombobulated against him
