Canelo Slander sucks man

Hes the best boxer in the World

If he can knock Danny out I think he has to be number 1. But it's gonna be a tough fight. Shocked canelo is a 3 to 1 favorite. I think Danny's length gonna give him some problems early. But eventually canelo will make adjustments. If he can manage to take the fight inside, he should be able to catch Danny with some bombs. He keeps getting better every fight and this will be no different. Every fighter in the sport respects canelo's skillset despite what the haters say. This Jacob's fight really gonna let us know where he stands among the elite.

I have mixed feelings about this.

My take is that they are offering up mega change and a chance to co-promote?

Showtime gave him exposure and he also did a live chat during a PBC on FS1 card a cpl of months ago.

I don’t know if this is the best move for his long term growth, so I think it will be a short term deal. I just fail to see how DAZN can generate the interest of casuals, unless they keep up this new 40 Days Lebron Documentary series and features like that. DAZN is borderline underground at the moment. They need to keep the foot on the pedal from a marketing perspective...can they compete with mainstream television? I really hope the 40 Days was not just a one off...they will need online videos like that in order to truly build, consistently..it is literally the only way they can garner attention.

Biggest signing Eddie has made by far though, so a win for Matchroom USA and DAZN.

Yup. Showtime is strange. Devin Haney’s Day In Camp episode had some $ behind it, got a ton of views. You would think they’d go all out to secure him as he’s an up and coming star.

Yet they’re going all in on Robert Easter...I like bunny, yet he’s not a main event calibre fighter IMO and doesn’t have that long term potential. On top of that..they also haven’t had a single video on this Easter fight on their youtube..promo is non existent. Their promotion and who/when they decide to market fights is not based on logic..there is literally no rhyme or reason to their promotional strategy.

It’s almost as if they are picking who they make these promo vids for from a hat (outside of PPV fights and hot prospects like Haney, Ennis).

Robert Easter is with PBC, Haney was on his own, so they're just spotlighting whatever fight they get from PBC at the moment.

Danny is on his down side of his career, he’s been slipping his past couple fights.

It wouldn’t surprise me at all if he gets knocked out.
