Out of the 3 fights mentioned for Whyte I think the Povetkin fight is the worst for him, high risk and low reward, Povetkin is a very good fighter and it's a tough fight, if he loses then it's very damaging and if he wins what does he really gain? Because people will dismiss the victory, even though it would be a very good 1.

Ortiz at least would hold that interest, cause Wilder loves to hang his hat on beating Ortiz so if Whyte beats him too it will help advance his status, particularly in the U.S and may somehow lead him closer to a Wilder fight.

Ultimately Brezeale is the best fight for him career wise as he would be mandatory so he will get his shot.

Gonna be very interesting what happens between Wilder and Fury because styles make fights, I think Wilder vs Whyte is close and either could knock the other out but I think Fury would be favourite against Whyte, as he could probably outbox him and win on points, Whyte's punches aren't quite as fast as Wilder's so Fury could avoid them. So Whyte for his own career may want Wilder to beat Fury so he has a better chance stylistically to be WBC champion. As I said then Whyte vs AJ 2 would be huge.

I just hope we start getting the annoncements and shyt soon. Within the next 10 days they said we should get the Whyte announcement and the AJ fight next week, which should be Miller.

Hopefully Mares is setup with some money to fall back on because he would be crazy to continue fighting with 2 repaired retinas, a fight with Davis should be a non-starter and PBC should be looking to get Davis back out there with a real opponent ASAP.

They gonna find him another featherweight soon after Ruiz, preferably one coming off a loss

Ahh so likely the reason we haven't heard anything about GGG lately is because of the legal issues between him and his managers. Wish him luck in that situation because he can't afford big layoffs at this stage in his career and age. I don't want to see a third fight with Canelo personally. i know it will happen but my opinion is both are too evenly matched to win a solid decision. then in the aftermath non fans start claiming boxing is the only corrupt sport in existence and that pisses me off i can't lie.

There maybe some truth to that and that’s mayeb the reason why the 3rd Canelo fight ain’t gne happen in May. But I honestly think he is just stalling for the 3rd Canelo fight too. That’s his gameplan all along. Anybody besides a can posed a real threat for him to lose so I think he sits out to September regardless. I think they make the 3rd Nelo fight September and maybe face a can in between.

GGG is just trying to cash out at this point I’m guessing. I can’t blame him he’s old. It’s just sad that when the MW division got to popping he spends his time chasing Canelo :francis:

A junior featherweight world title elimination fight between Cesar Juarez (23-6, 17 KOs), 27, of Mexico, and former titlist Ryosuke Iwasa (25-3, 16 KOs), 29, of Japan, has been added to the Premier Boxing Champions card headlined by featherweight titlist Leo Santa Cruz against Rafael Rivera on Feb. 16 at the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles. The Juarez-Iwasa winner will become the mandatory challenger for the 122-pound belt held by TJ Doheny. Juarez has won three fights in a row since a fifth-round knockout loss to Isaac Dogboe for an interim belt in 13 months ago in Ghana. Iwasa lost the title to Doheny by decision in his last fight on Aug. 16 in Tokyo.
