Mares just said on Inside The PBC that he was offered GRJ @ 126 or Tank and he chose Tank instead, he must really be banking on Tank being unfoced and undisciplined, which I dont see happening. He loses to both IMO but at least GRJ doesn't hit as hard as Tank.
Hell, to be honest...GRJ vs Mares is actually a legit competitive fight. I think Turbo Fists wins too, but Mares ain't in over his head in that one. Against Tank, I just think he's outgunned as fukk and almost being fed to the nikka.
Credit to Mares tho, dude will really fight anybody. One of the best resumes in the sport.

It would shock me if Tank doesn’t stop him sometime between 6-10 but I’d like to see more of Gervonta’s defense. I like what I’ve seen from it but he never really shows how truly good he is at it , cause he’s usually on the offensive side and dropping dudes. Hopefully it’s a good fight, I’m assuming this is on Showtime?
