I said this in the Ring Twitter chat when I saw it was reported that Shakur got into a brawl and ended up with a busted lip (which ended up being false) and cats here thought I was bugging, but i don't care because I really feel this way...
If you a pro fighter, and you get bruised/busted up in a street fight, you automatically take an L IMO. When it comes to hand to hand combat, you supposed to be God to us regular nikkas. You shouldn't be getting bruised/cut up by civilians.
I keep being told "but there's dudes in the streets with hands." Which there is and I've never denied that. But there's levels to this shyt. It's like basketball. There's nikkas out here that are nice as fukk at ball. But if you put them against a pro baller, they shouldn't be able to score more than a point or 2 off them.
Lemme put it in perspective. I box myself. I've sparred guys with several years of experience and there were times I couldn't even touch them. And I'm only a step above a regular dude in the streets because I have some formal training. Even if it's not alot, it's still more than alot of cats with none who can't even punch properly. Go watch them WSHH type streey fights and you'll see how a regular dude throws punches and how bad it looks.
So I just can't see a boxer who makes a living out of fighting getting busted/bruised up by a regular civilian. If they do, they gotta take that L regardless of how bad they beat them up :ohwelp:

what if he was drunk though? even a trained fighter can be uncoordinated while drunk, especially in a street fight with several people involved. he might get sucker punched easily
