:mjlol: did you just start watching boxing breh.

You do know that Pac was the underdog for both of those fights right.
Don’t know what were the Barrera odds, you know I’m in my early 20s, I obviously watched it later.
With that said I know about the DLH odds, I heard about that but I always thought the size factor was overrated there to the expense of the youth/momentum factor. Pac looked like a beast around that time.
Arum knew exactly what to expect there imo, the angle was definitely Pac beating DLH. They are usually smart matchmakers. He knew Oscar is past it and won’t be able to contain prime Pac who was #1 P4P that time if I know it right.

The Heartbreak Kid Ryan Garcia got em mad bc he got the women on lock:ahh:
It’s not even that, have them on lock but it’s hard to not be irritated by this dude’s boyband vibe.
One can hope he won’t see that in boxing at least.

But I’m trying to not to pay attention to it cause I want to remain as objective as possible. He is definitely a prospect but there are still many questions around him.

Barrera was prolly one of the top fighters in the world and in his prime when Pac ko'ed him...that was a HUGE upset

The Oscar fight I put money on Oscar knocking Pac out because he was so much bigger than him. He prolly could have if he didn't drain himself down to welterweight where he had no business being at that age and time smh. Well he got the beating for it and I lost money :francis:

What you talkin 9-3?

Yep...no scores lower than 8-4 at very worst.

Hurd is easy work for someone like Lara. Too slow, too stiff, no defense, no footwork, no skill set, no head movement, no jab. Nothing. Just a big oaf swinging for the fences while throwing off the wrong foot.

He aint no Margarito....he's more of a Black JCC Jr.

You love them nikkas that turn over rights that way man :russ:

I only do it if im setting a trap and I have a 90% chance that shyt is going to land because may allah help you if it doesn't :sadcam:
If you’re still moving you can throw the 1-2 like that once, and even if you don’t connect, you’d be able to feint the right then throw a quick check hook and knock them off balance, or run them into another right.

I love seeing hand turning and follow through like that. If Wlad threw his right like that against AJ he would have KOd him. Shane could have KOd Floyd if he threw his right hand like that.

Bruh lemme just level up your boxing knowledge real quick so you don't turn into another history revisionist.

Oscar was originally supposed to fight the winner of Cotto/Margarito, but afterwards that nikka was like :whoa:. Instead he picked on a lightweight and was gonna bring up up to welterweight. Oscar didn't really impress with the Steve Forbes win, but most people thought he was on some bullying shyt targeting Pac. Only Roach and Pac and maybe a small handful of cats knew Pac would light him up, but the rest of the boxing world looked at that as a mismatch, just like how everyone though Chino was gonna kill Morales.

Oscar had trouble making the weight and drained himself doing all type of weird shyt, but even then most felt he'd still win. There was no angle on Pac definitely beating DLH. That's just you projecting your spin on shyt because you don't want to give Pac his full credit.

Pac was definitely the underdog against MAB going into the first fight. nikkas were only giving him a puncher's chance at best. I believe MAB was a 4-1 favorite, plus Pac was moving up in weight for that fight too. Nobody was thinking he'd dominate MAB like that. Leading up to the fight, more news was made about his head surgery and fire that happened in his camp.

and now......The More You Know. :salute:

oscar really wanted that fight with cotto :russ:..truth be told it would have been one hell of a marquee fight..another one for the PR vs Mexico rivalry...oscar didnt want no smoke with margo..shyt margo was once his sparring partner..he knew margo would be too much for him at that point..esp at welterweight

Facts

shyt's crazy, because I still thought Oscar had enough to edge Margarito, especially if they fought at 154 or close too it, but yeah he didn't wanna take no chances on that fight. :mjlol:

nikka cherrypicked his way to a career ending beat down :hhh:

I try not to shyt on that moment of Oscar bytchassness too much since he gave us so many big fights throughout his career, but iit was still a hoe move. The only fights I feel like we didn't get from him were Forrest and Winky, but damn, you can't fight everybody. :manny:
