Manny fought a lot with catchwieghts, he really didn’t move up that much really and he remained small. He was just a small guy willing to fight big men.

Him refusing tests was bob feeding him those words, bob didn’t want that fight.

Also manny hurt early on was due to him eating one meal a day being mal nutritional, similarl to Sor being hurt early on.

A small segment from the musings of Prenice Brewer . . .

I don't get why you guys can't accept facts and try to run with some alternative narrative. Manny refused drug tests. Manny jumped 2 weight classes and was knocking stronger, bigger fighters than him. So, he was going up in weight but was getting stronger ? Many people in boxing knew Manny was dirty. That's why Roach wanted to know what Ariza was cooking because he felt Manny could piss dirty. Manny also refused to pee after a fight because he "forgot" and left. Dude was not a clean fighter. Not one boxer believed he was clean.

Weren't you one of those dudes telling FLoyd to stop asking for drug tests cuz he's not a commission, but he's a fighter ? :camby:
Ain't cheating if u don't get caught

Wilder Would Accept 40% - If Joshua Gets The Same in Rematch

By George Mills, courtesy of The Daily Star

DEONTAY WILDER claimed it would be “easy” to agree a deal to fight Anthony Joshua and revealed the exact split he would accept to make it happen.

The Bronze Bomber beat Luis Ortiz last weekend to leave himself perfectly set up for a shot at Joshua, should the British IBF and WBA champion emerge victorious against WBO champion Joseph Parker at the end of the month.

Negotiations between Wilder’s camp and Team Joshua entered the preliminary stage following AJ’s breathtaking win over Wladimir Klitschko last year.

But talks quickly broke down with both men reportedly unhappy at the other’s demands.

Speaking to talkSPORT last night though, 32-year-old Wilder suggested he would be only too happy to return to the table in order to thrash out a deal.

“Nothing has been offered, nothing,” Wilder said.

“Even when [Eddie] Hearn and his father [Barry] came to America last year, they weren’t talking about Joshua.

“Joshua wasn’t in their mind. They were saying ‘you guys and Dillian Whyte’. Like I said before, I would fight Dillian Whyte no problem. That’s easy.

“As long as you have Joshua on the end of that, we’re good. And they didn’t even want to make that happen.

“That was the only thing that was going. There wasn’t anything about me and Joshua discussed. Nothing. Not one thing.

“They come back and said we didn’t make an offer, we didn’t reach an agreement. How can an offer be made when the main subject wasn’t even discussed – we’re talking about Wilder vs Joshua.”

Wilder, according to figures, reportedly pocketed $2.1m to face Ortiz at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York, last weekend.

But he is said to have turned down an eye-watering $4.5m offer from Hearn to fight Whyte to do so.

Explaining his decision, Wilder continued: “The people want to see the biggest and the baddest and the best fight. Most of these people are going to say this is the best of their era.

“Some people are not going witness greatness like this ever in their lifetime again.

“You’ve got two great guys, two undefeated guys that have knocked out everybody placed in front of them, in their prime. One from the UK, one from the USA, coming together. What a special night, what a special fight.

“It doesn’t get any better than that special moment.”

“I’m going to offer you 60/40 split in his [Joshua’s] favour first fight, rematch clause, winner gets it the other way around – are you accepting that?” host Adam Catterall asked.

“I’m there,” Wilder replied.

I don't know...

On the one hand that 60-40 to AJ with winner takes 60% on rematch sounds okay
On the other hand who knows if a rematch will be warranted or not. I was never a fan of talking about rematches before the first fight, especially not contractually agree upon them already. One of them might absolutely mops the floor with the other, it might be not competitive at all and then thanks I'm not that interested in a rematch.

Uncle Tom Bradley at it again:scust:

If he wants the AB payday, he needs to just come back & make it happen. Quit hating from the sidelines:hhh:
Did you listen to it or you just go by the title?

He speaks very reasonably and honestly. If anything he rather sound pity and sad than malicious about Broner.

He is right about him too and he - as a naturally less gifted fighter who still made a better career than many of the naturally more gifted guys, out of hard work and determination - knows what he’s talking about here.

However....Im saying hes hating for a reason: he wants an AB payday:

He needs to either come back & get this work...or stay hating from the sidelines.

Nah the same dude who was an AB fan feels pity about the guy...

He is retired but he can still express his honest opinion, I don’t see the problem with that especially that he stayed close to the game, working for ESPN boxing and he was asked about his opinion.

It’s not like he would have posted some random, unwarranted rant about Broner on Instagram. There is a big difference imo

I told yall nikkas that Lipinets was better than Indongo.

Lipinets showed that he's a legit fighter at 140 & I cant wait to see how the Prograis, Lipinets, Imam, Ramirez, Postol, Orozco, Garcia, Broner situations play out:obama:
