To be an example for humanity. As well as showing the power of socialism when used wisely. To support 1000 homeless people,it ranges from 4 to 40 million per year. You could buy 500 acres from 5-10 million. Build a project building on it,or 1500 sq ft units. Buy some cows,chickens,create a lake. Im sure that would probably come up to less than 40 million. But if not,its a one time investment. Rather than paying 35k a year for 1000 homeless people. So the pitch to America would be reperations,and an experiment that would potentially save tax payer money in the future. What im talking about wouldnt be for homeless people though unless they fit the description. But it could be an example to be used later for the homeless. This is simply for those who prefer to live more indegeniously.
The Robert Taylor Homes housed 28000 people in 27 buildings,on 100 acres. So 4 acres could house 1000 people. Even if you wanted to do 1500 sq foot units still,those can hold 10 people. An acre is 44000 sq ft. So 1 acre would hold 30 units. This would be 300 people per acre as far as dwellings. So its still about 4 acres to hold 1200 people. 1 acre can sustain 5 people comfortably food wise,thats if you overeat like we do now. So 200 acres could easily support 1000 people. So we are at 205 acres for 1000 people so far. Get yourself about 100 acres for 50 cows,some chickens,build you a lake. Shouldnt go over 150 acres. Then you have another 150 acres left.
