They get warp in the fact that gale was a nice guy so they gloss over the fact that he a METH COOK working for gus who was ok with gus killing walt and jess to make him his main cook.

I don’t think Gale knew that Gus was gonna off Walt. That was the whole purpose of Gus’ visit, when he asked Gale how quickly he could take over. gale asked why and Gus went to great lengths to explain that it was due to Walt’s cancer diagnosis. He strong-armed him on the timing, but I always thought Gale was oblivious to what would actually happen.

Jesse was never really on Gale’s radar. He only knew of him as the other assistant.

Maybe I’m being naive tho.

him killing gale doesn't change your point. he didn't want to do it. but he did that for walt. and they did a pretty good job of showing how much it damaged him after.

First he was numb/indifferent. Then he bought the stereo system and started throwing non-stop ragers to keep people around him cause he didn’t want to be alone. Then he was drugged out and numb/indifferent.

He was trying to cope with what he’d done the entire time, and he was in pretty bad shape until Gus and Mike got him straightened out.
