Yup. I wonder if he knew that Mike was watching Kim & Jimmy, too. I don't see how he'd know. Anyway, what did he say that caused Hector to go bananas with the bell? "I'm going back to Plan A. He get's a surprise tonight. Uncle… No, Eladio won't be happy. but this is the way." So, before, when he spoke to Hector after the attack on his compound, did he talk about a Plan A? Was Hector upset simply because he didn't want Lalo to get killed, which he figured he would going up against all of Gus's men?
That first phone call in episode 1 he told Hector he was going back to ABQ to kill Gus, and then decided not to and go look for proof instead.

I have a feeling the writing of Saul/Kim is a direct response to how fans reacted to Walt. Which was "oh nah, he's still justified" and not what the writers intended.

Fred.

I agree. Walt wasn’t redeemable by the end. He was clearly a monster. But by the time it was apparent they’d inadvertently turned him into an anti-hero and we didn’t care for the most part.

The same thing was happening with Kim, but they’ve been putting her on front street all season. Howie nailed it. Unlike Walt, where you could see the motivation that drove him even if you didn’t agree with it, there was no reason for kim to go that far. She just felt like it. Even when Saul saw Howie at therapy, they never stopped to ask why (did anyone???) or reconsider. They just kept going.

Wouldnt the coke baggie at the country club been payback enough for any transgressions Howie committed? The prostitutes? The bowling ball? Cause what they did wasn’t about money. They just wanted to hurt that man.

I think whatever ends up happening, kim is gonna go out defiantly and on her terms, because that’s who she is. fukk how we feel about it, or if anyone else gets a say. I think Saul is gonna show his own cowardice in that same moment, because he’s always been a grifter and a coward. And I think Cinnabon Saul is gonna go out with one last big scheme where he finally shows his own stern side, in tribute to Kim.

Very excited for the final six. I had no idea what would happen with nacho or Howard..this is definitely up there...I'm not sure if it's better than bb, but I've rewatched bb so many times over the years.. just really appreciate both of these shows.
It's almost like comparing The Clone Wars and Rebels. Two great shows. The Clone Wars is the og a la Breaking Bad. Both of those shows had Mount Olympus highs. Rebels and BCS also have great highs, especially BCS, when Chicanery hits. A lotta people think Rebels is more consistent than The Clone Wars, prolly cuz it's a more centrally focused narrative. It's kinda the case with BCS following Jimmy and it being more of a character study. But shyt, they all great. :manny:
