In the scene where Walt and Jesse first really deal with saul goodman where they put the bag over his head and he tells them to put a dollar in his pocket, saul goodman first believed the people who kidnapped him was Lalo. He says "is this Lalo. Lalo's men?"

Writers of breaking bad/bcs are very intentional. So if they had Kim telling Jimmy Lalo died but in breaking bad he believes Lalo is alive something took place that let Jimmy know Lalo is not dead. So I'm looking forward to that playing out.
