Pretty sure they added that Ali/Lee debate specifically for Jonathan Banks, he's an Ali stan in real life.
Over all solid season opener and it was unsettling seeing how nonchalant Jimmy was to be cleared of blame for why Chuck committed suicide....but I assume it's a front.

Obviously they expected him to just sit and home and collect a check but his credentials are in the system so all it would take is a couple phone calls to get info on a random Madrigal employee.
Yeah but they've said the series jumps around in time more than usual this season. Nothing specifically about a whole Gene episode but there's other time lines they did mention this season.

Was he glad he put that bug out there about the malpractice insurance....I thought he was about to tell it at first...then he chuckled
Nah that insurance situation is 100% on Jimmy. He's the one that went to talk to them last season and "accidentally" admitted Chuck is crazy....then fake acted like
"don't do anything with that info, ok?"....because he wanted them to fukk up Chuck's career. So his suicide is on Jimmy, not Howard....but Jimmy let him take the blame anyway.
