Kim is WAY different from Skyler. In fact, deep down Kim and Jimmy are one and the same, only Kim refuse to admit it and strives so hard to fight it. But it's why Kim always accepted what Jimmy did even when she personally disapproves, and she was in on a few scams too. She was his lawyer and knew what he done. The issue with Kim was fighting so hard in being what she's not. She saw herself as a hard-nosed by the books lawyer and she really not and she's burning herself from it. The accident was more or less a wake-up call. The problem that may happen is either Howard would put her on as partner with the ultimatum of never working with Jimmy or she'll do something that crossed the line and get herself disbarred and Jimmy would of been the cause of that.
I didn't say Kym and Skylar are the same, I meant that the men in both their lives are what made/helped turn them bad. Jimmy did those scams back in the day and now he's doing them with Kim. Skylar has her own story, but it was Walt that was the driving force for her to do those things she did behind his back.

Jimmy was trying to get Chuck's money since episode one of SEASON ONE...
So? He was working with him then. Why would he get now after taking him to court and having him retire? Why would Hamlin agree to give up his money on a handshake deal? You do remember they didn't sign paperwork?

Good finale, not great. I thought with the way he scammed that older woman in episode 9 that he was finally gonna go full blown Saul. However that he threw himself in the dirt with that situation to make things right reverted him back to being Jimmy. Its not that I haven't liked the slow transition but its the fact that they keep indicating that their going full blown Saul and then holding back. First time was in the first season and he tells mike that he questions not taking the money that that couple stole and that he's not gonna let anything stop him like that again. Then when he got fired from Davis& Maine. By season 3 of Breaking Bad we already seen Walter cross that line. Plus the writers and Odenkirk himself were giving clues that this season you may get the full transition but they keep playing foreplay with us. Michael McKean definitely needs to win an Emmy for this season though.

:wow:Chuck really fukked himself over involving HHM in his rift with Jimmy. Let that be a lesson to everyone "Keep it in the family". Straight Godfather shyt. Chuck thought Howard had his back, when it was always Jimmy who had it. Howard turned out to be Chucks biggest threat and it showed with his silent walk out of HHM. The man literally couldn't say shyt after Howard hit him with the "You won.":demonic:

And the parallels between Walt/Skylar and Jimmy/Kim are crazy.:banderas:Both men doing bad things for what they feel are the right reasons with their women slowly turning bad themselves.
That Blockbuster scene brought back great memories.:blessed:
Chuck didn't really want to fight Howard, he only desperately tried to bluff him when Howard basically told him to retire after the insurance premium shyt (which btw was Jimmys work)

Chuck 'won' but he really lost. All he wanted was to stay at HHM and Howard willing to pay out of pocket money showed him how much Howard was tired of his shyt

depressing ep tbh.

chuck went out like jimmy said he would :russ:

he said jimmy didn't mean that much to him but he pretty much ruined his life trying to keep jimmy from getting in the door.
it was obviously a lie, just not sure why he lied exactly. his a$$hole pride or whatever. he obviously was stressed out as fukk after that conversation.

It's also lowkey a parallel to Walt's behaviour in 'The Fly' episode too. :wow:

He felt guilty and couldn't live with the remorse for how he destroyed his entire life and pushed away all of the people around him, his pride wouldn't let him open up and reflect or reconcile with Jimmy, Michael McKean described how he saw that behavior as Chuck just wanting to "flatline" and be left alone, hence why he had to push Jimmy away as well.
He projected the advice that he himself couldn't live with about "having no regrets and embracing his wrongdoings" onto Jimmy.

Seeing Kim watch Blockbuster videos is like seeing someone use a portable CD player :wow:. It's good that she decided to take her foot off the gas for now, and the eventual fallout she has with Jimmy is going to hurt worse than Jimmy/Chuck.

Besides the mental illness, Chuck's biggest weakness may have been being stubborn :francis:. He spent so many years not really accepting his condition, didn't want to listen to Howard about giving teaching a try or writing a book, and didn't change the way he approached dealing with Jimmy. The scene where he was tearing up his house was :picard: :damn::to:. A shame he left things on such a bad note with Howard and Jimmy, the 2 people left in his life that cared for him the most.

This was a really good season for Nacho. I remember seeing the actor first on Orphan Black and it's cool to see him doing great :obama:

Nice of Jimmy to patch things up with Irene and her friends, but her friends did her kinda shady :ld:

I just read a couple interviews from Peter Gould (the co-showrunner with Vince Gilligan) and he pretty much definitively said whether or not Chuck was dead, and if it was suicide. I'm not going to say because some people might want to go into next season not knowing....but if you happen to read interviews or about the show in general just know that info is out there if you want to avoid it.
