Wilder throws that right like a slingshot (good) but he starts his punch too low and loses power. I don't think he'll be able to put Stiverne down or hurt him enough to stop the pressure.
Only thing better about Showtime than HBO is having Paulie Malignaggi as one of the announcers....that's it.
HBO does everything better Boxing wise
I like Paulie talking boxing but Roy is just....
Not so sure about that one breh
Dont forget, Stiverne has a KO LOSS on his record which he has never avenged, to a guy who was 11-15 at the time (and had lost 11 of his previous 16 fights coming into the ring against him):
Deontay Wilder aint ever been KO'd by a bum......we cant say the same for Stiverne
But again I have to reiterate that nobody is talking about Stiverne as being anything more than what he is right now so this idea that there are questions people are asking about him is just nonsense.Manny Pacquiao lost to Rustico Torrecampo a little over 2 months after turning 17, was wearing larger gloves than his opponent, and struggled to make the weight...he was drained
Demetrice King was a pure bum...Torrecampo lost only 4 of his career 20 fights at that point while King had lost 15 of his career 26 fights, and came into that fight coming off 11 in losses in his last 16 fights
Again, January 17th will answer questions about both of em.
Tomasz Adamek beat Arreola as well so saying Stiverne is a "Champion" because he got the belt by beating Chris Arreola (like he has ever proved anything himself) as a way to make Stiverne much better than Wilder is to me...equivalent of those who propped up Chris Algieri for beating Provodnikov and acting like he's "proven" but he's not.
They both have something to prove imo
did you watch the video breh?
wack ass stoppage
acting like the big Haitian homie was destroyed or some shyt
But again I have to reiterate that nobody is talking about Stiverne as being anything more than what he is right now so this idea that there are questions people are asking about him is just nonsense.
The only guy in this fight who is being hyped to the moon is Wilder and he has never been past 4 rounds, never been tested by a game fighter and has never fought a step-up fight in his entire career. All the questions are about Wilder.
And while Stiverne and Arreola are not future HOFers they are both miles better than anyone that Deontay Wilder has ever fought in his entire career.
That was one of the most bullshyt stoppages I have ever seen.
this was an entertaining all access apart from the twerking that wilder was doing
Like @Jello Biafra said they could have made this a lot longer very easily
