Only thing better about Showtime than HBO is having Paulie Malignaggi as one of the announcers....that's it.
HBO does everything better Boxing wise
Their shytty translator game is neck and neck though

I have seen Stiverne get hit by full grown heavy-weight boxers and still maintain his composure; I haven't seen what happens to Wilder when he gets punched in the mouth a couple times by a dude with some pop.
All the questions in this fight are squarely on the Wilder side.
Not so sure about that one breh
Dont forget, Stiverne has a KO LOSS on his record which he has never avenged, to a guy who was 11-15 at the time (and had lost 11 of his previous 16 fights coming into the ring against him):
Deontay Wilder aint ever been KO'd by a bum......we cant say the same for Stiverne
7 years ago he took a loss in his 12th or 13th fight to a journeyman. That guy isn't even boxing anymore (he retired in 2011)so avenging that loss is a non-issue.
What he has done is gone 18 rounds with Chris Arreola who is better fighter and who hits harder than every human being that Wilder has ever fought professionally. So the question of whether Stiverne can maintain his composure when hit by a good puncher has been answered.
None of those club fighters or paid off has-beens that Wilder fought have ever even laid an actual punch on dude.
I can't believe you are pulling the not being undefeated card like having a loss on your record automatically makes you a bum.He lost to King in 2007.....King didnt retire until 4 years later. There was time to avenge that loss
He didnt
I cant believe you're making an excuse for Stiverne getting KOd by a dude who had lost 11 of his previous 16 fights and was only 11-15 at the time of the fight. If Wilder had been KO'd by a bum, yall would be all over it. Stiverne has and because he didnt get KOd by Arreola (who I dont recall landing ANY flush shots on Stiverne over 2 fights anyways), you're saying the question has been answered?
Let's also not act like Chris Arreola is some sort of legit top tier opponent anyways. He hasnt beaten anyone either and lost every fight against a B fighter or higher
On January 17th, all questions will be answered about both of em.
I can't believe you are pulling the not being undefeated card like having a loss on your record automatically makes you a bum.
Stiverne lost one fight 7 years ago...in the grand scheme of his career that fight means nothing.
And while I freely admit that Arreola is no future HOFer he is better than anyone Wilder has eve3r fought and he hits hard.
Now whether Stiverne got hit flush or not isn't the point, the point is that he has been in there 18 rounds with a decent fighter with good punching power who was game for a fight. Wilder can't say the same.
Wilder has fought bum after bum after bum after bum since 2008 (2 thousand and fukking eight!!!! ). He has never once been put in the ring with anyone that could be legit considered a step up in competition from a fukking club fighter. He was in year 6 of his career and still was fighting the level of comp that a dude in his first months of fighting would face.
So you arguing like Wilder is not a total mystery as far as how he will react when he hits a guy and the guy doesn't faint or when he gets punched in the mouth by someone intent on doing him physical harm is about the craziest shyt I have seen on here today and I spent a good deal of time reading the Floy/Pac thread on my lunch break.
And all of this is coming from someone who isn't all that enamored with Bermane Stiverne anyway.
I said nothing about Wilder's ability to take a punch or say Stiverne was a bum
I ve seen Wilder rocked by a bum...but he's never lost via KO. Stiverne has though and that matters because Wilder is a great power puncher who can and probably will KO him (at least drop him).
And good fighters don't lose, at any point of their careers, to bums with an 11-15 record...especially one who's lost 11 of his last 16 fights coming into the bout.
Again, if Deontay Wilder had a KO loss on his record, which he never avenged for 4 years, to a complete bum fighter...I know you wouldn't have the same attitude towards him.
January 17th will provide the answer though, because to me...they BOTH have something to prove.
Manny Pacquiao lost to Rustico Torrecampo a little over 2 months after turning 17, was wearing larger gloves than his opponent, and struggled to make the weight...he was drainedManny Pacquiao lost to a dude who was 11-4-5...I guess he aint a good fighter based off that criteria.
And Bermane Stiverne is no mystery and has nothing to prove. Just by virtue of him being WBC champ he has already overachieved like a motherfukker and the book has been written on him...he is a decent fighter but not special. Why you are acting like anyone is walking around stanning for Bermane Stiverne to the point that an unavenged loss is some sort of sticking point is absolutely crazy to me.
Wilder is the one with everything to lose because he has been hyped as the savior of American heavyweight boxing and is supposed to walk right through Stiverne on his way to a date with Wlad Klitschko to unify the heavyweight titles.
And all of that comes off of him KOing a bunch of landscapers, cab drivers and bouncers.
No one knows shyt about Deontay Wilder as a legit heavyweight because he has never been challenged so the big question that everyone is asking is: What will Deontay Wilder do when he is in a fight with a live body?
haye was giving wilder the beats when they youtube]j7tzdZvOWkY[/MEDIA]

Bermane Stiverne: I am in Vegas training at the Mayweather Gym. I have had many sparring partners, seven total and they have been alternating since it has been a very long camp. I began training camp in August because we didn't even know when this fight was going to happen so we had to be ready for any time and we did better than ever. It has been a long, long training camp and I am in the best shape I have ever been in. I plan to go in the ring between 238 and 242 pounds. We thought about going lower but I am a super heavyweight and that is the weight where I am best.
"I think Wilder is a clown. Wilder thinks this is the WWE. He acts like it's the WWE. This is for real. It is going to hurt very bad. On Jan. 17 I will hurt Wilder and I will knock him out and it will be a lasting image in peoples' minds for a very long time."
