Im not looking forward to the new sniping mechanics. I am such a beast in BF3 with a rifle and a 8-12X scope . From the beta it feels so different. Gonna be harder to do aggressive recon.
I'm new to this PC shyt... I didn't even think to do this. All you do is put the key code in Origin and it downloads right? It's already pre-loaded

Downloads like 98-99% of it, then downloads some final files at the very end so you can play right when it launches.I'm new to this PC shyt... I didn't even think to do this. All you do is put the key code in Origin and it downloads right?
http://www.polygon.com/2013/10/28/5037694/battlefield-4-next-gen-controls-significantly-differentThe controls for Battlefield 4 on next-gen consoles will be significantly different from those on current gen machines, Battlefield 4 executive producer Patrick Bach told Game Informer.
Bach explained that the major changes made to the control schemes were to allow ease of communication between the player and controller. These tweaks include moving teamplay functions off the face buttons and onto the bumpers and tying all vehicle movement to the left analogue stick, giving vehicles similar controls to soldiers.
"When we looked at controls in Battlefield 4, we placed the team play aspect of our controls as the highest priority," Bach said. "We wanted players to be familiar with using spotting and the communication rose in multiplayer as well as the engage and tactical visor in single player. To accomplish this we needed a button that allowed players quick access while also enabling the player to still perform all the necessary functions of Battlefield, like shooting, aiming, moving, and melee. We also know that players require consistency, especially players who will want to move from a PS3 to a PS4 or a Xbox 360 to a Xbox One.
"With this in mind, we moved our teamplay functions to a bumper button, which required us to make additional changes, all to highlight one of Battlefield's key strengths," he added. "It also enabled the use of the communication rose with a controller."
Players uncomfortable with the new input scheme can take advantage of a Veteran scheme that brings back the classic button map.
"For people who don't like these new controls you are offering a Veteran scheme that basically returns the controls to the Battlefield 3 standard, with one major difference — the comma rose is still married to the right bumper whether you are on foot or in a vehicle, which moves countermeasures and melee attacks," Bach said.
"We recognize that change is hard, and the veteran control schemes are our nod to players who wish to have a Battlefield 3 control style," he added. "We continue to see teamplay as a key area for Battlefield, and that meant that we could not purely duplicate the old setup."

I'm a use the veteran setting while adjusting to the other changes.
I'm already used to the new controls after the beta. Probably going to cop a DS4 for PC so it's a seamless transition when I start playing FPS on PS4 (Killzone and eventually BF4)
http://bf4central.com/2013/10/battlefield-4-commander-tablet-app-launches-november-19th/Battlefield 4 launches in less than two days, but it won’t be with all the promised features. At least when it comes to the new Commander mode. While players will be able to play as the Battlefield 4 Commander on PC and consoles, the dedicated tablet app will launch a few weeks later, on November 19th.
DICE confirmed that the app, which is a separate app from the Battlelog app, will launch on iOS and Android devices on November 19, roughly three weeks after the game is released. Players will be able to use the app to play as the Commander and lead a team, even if the actual match is taking pace on PC or consoles.
The Commander feature gives one player the role of leading their team in a match, and can help his team in various ways, from dropping supplies and vehicles, to UAV scans. The Commander can even launch Tomahawk missiles against enemy targets.
While the Commander app will be separate from the Battlelog app, there will be integration between the two apps. The regular Battlelog app is expected to receive an update as well.
