I actually watched this like a few months back thinking it was debatable as hell, but just felt Rich edged it.

@ this hollow/goodz intro. Can't really do this type of shyt with the new nyggas.
Round 1 - Rich
Rich came hard, forcing Yung Ill to step up his aggression in round 2
Round 2 - Ill
Round 3 - Rich
2-1 Rich
I feel Rich won this even more clearly this time around. Rich just had harder bars (even if he performs as if he's reading a piece of paper). Shyt hit harder in a room.
In fact he's way more effective in a room like this than he is on a stage. I'm sure if I went back & watched Rich's stage battles (which I have no desire to do), it probably would come off better in a room.

You ill-mannered, illierate nikka...there's 3 rounds to a battle. Rich got 1 & 3. Some of Ill's rhymes were corny and didn't hit.

Exactly. It's 3 rounds. Yes Ill won the second but he did not win the battle. I think this is a case of one round being so fire people try hard to give the person another round even though they didn't win one just so they can edge it to the person with the best round. Plus this was Yung Ill in his prime and he's loved and Rich Dolarz wasn't never liked so people don't want to admit he won, but he did. I won't say "clearly, no debating" because the first is somewhat debatable but Ill had a lot of shyt that didn't land at ALL in the first. Rich was punching all first and had more crowd reaction and the third was a blow out.

I bet it's a lot of nikkas that say DNA beat Tay Roc because he had better bars but will contradict themselves here and say Yung Ill beat Rich even though Rich clearly had the better bars

Coming with hard bars doesn't mean shyt if you can't perform them on a large stage.
I use to be an all bars nygga, but really gained an appreciation for showmanship over the years. It's all a case by case basis.

I remember this vividly.. Dropped on my 22nd bday.. Saw the clippers game and got some of the most fire head night before.. Same thoughts I had then I had now.. Richy 2-1.. Ill 2nd slightly edged richly 2nd.. And his 3rd just had too many missed punchlines.. Rich had haymakers that landed and won him the battle.. It's almost fukkin tragic to see this and know rich dollaz is a small room battle nikka only.. Half his material goes over head on stage and he has 0 performance

Second round clearly Ill. "UMMM UMMM UMMMMM" enough said. That boy left earth.
Third round Ill spit basketball filler and got killed. Dollarz strategically set him up for a heavy third and waited to use that name flip scheme. Ill pretty much knew he lost soon as Dollarz went into that.
