If it's in front of a URL-type crowd Calicoe would whoop Dizaster...they ain't tryna hear all them torture-themed multis and shyt, they just want some slick punches and some imaginary gangsta talk pretty much, delivered well.
Dizaster vs Lux would be crazy, they would prob both be excited and inspired for that so you'd get their best. I don't think Lux can really force himself to get motivated for a lot of these guys they've been throwing at him the last few years...the only motivation for facing these far inferior talents is the money.

thats why I’m sayin, I’m not trying to see a biased ass crowd when it comes to battles like this. nikkas will just side with who they like already, gas their shyt even when it’s terrible, and make the footage look crazy. then narratives get spun. I’d prefer Diz vs Cal than Diz vs Lux; I mean Lux would take an interesting approach to Diz’s background and Diz would probably break down Lux’s career well but honestly, I don’t see that happening for real.

Diz’s last good round in years was his third against Myers. I’m not trying to see him battle a URL rapper because we’re going to hear the same tired angle of “You rap about shyt you don’t do.” Diz has been lazy with his approach for years and he looked like a Make-A-Wish kid vs Tay Roc.

He had one good round (his first) against Roc and afterward, it was painfully awkward and just not good all around. Roc won but that battle had me tight. You got it wrong about his last good round tho; his rematch with Thesaurus in the KOTD Grand Prix last year was a good back and forth and he showed up. He lost to Saynt but I don’t remember how good he was against him; he wasn’t as bad as he was against guys on URL.

Diz is like that against every “street” rapper in a non-KOTD setting though. He’s looked happy to be there against Rex, Roc and Cassidy…he didn’t even look comfortable on Total Slaughter. Also, I didn’t think he was that good in the Grand Prix and he shouldn’t have even made it to the final since Frak beat him clearly.
I equate Dizaster battles to watching James Harden. You know he’s gonna do his signature moves and get his points but overall, it’s an ugly watch.

Oh I had Frak winning. But in general when he battled Thesaurus, he was way better in that battle, feel me? Everyone hated him against Rex damn near and I actually didn’t mind it when I saw it; didn’t think he won but majority shytted on him and I didn’t think that was right, IMO. Against Cass, he was doing ok at first when they were in that stage then Cass stopped and they didn’t finish the battle. The next say, Diz lost whatever he had the night before…even with a slept on 2nd round, he lost to Cass and some basic bars. Total Slaughter will forever be a weird situation to me so I need to rewatch that; like Rex came in and cleaners house…that’s main thing I remember.

Yeah Total Slaughter had me scratching my head the whole time. Like I’m boosted they got the opportunity but looking back on it…what the fukk was that? Lol. Like there was no follow up for it for real. No one got a deal out of it. I mean, they got paid from it so that’s good. But other than that, it’s like nothing afterwards. So weird.
Diz’s 3rd against Danny, his 2nd against O’fficial (could have been his first; he at least had a good round in that) and his 1st against Roc shows he can really put together the material right when he doesn’t come with some bullshyt. I mean, you could say his one rounder with Hollow and his rounds for Soul Khan could work as well.
Lol aye Diz had me cracking up a little during that Rex battle. It was a lot of energy and shyt. I didn’t see the issue but I didn’t have him winning that. Everyone dogged him but Diz does what he does; I don’t want him changing up and all of a sudden he tries to imitate the Smack URL typical style. It was sound sooooo forced and corny. Same time, you are right that he needs to take the right approach against URL style battle rappers.
